Oh my let me tell you how insane it is to have a man look at you the way Alessandro looks at me. I can literally feel his love just pouring out of him, just filling the room with his love for me. He is such an amazing man and beyond supportive.. he took to reading baby books and dong research without me ever even suggesting it! I was beaming with pride when he told me he was reading stuff.. even if we were in an argument about other stuff.

I used to be the one looking at boys with stars in my eyes. I never knew what it felt like to be looked at that way...my goodness is it intoxicating!

Dearest Parker Louisa Capelli,

This is the first time I am putting your name out there publicly..but it feels right! We are so so excited for you, your daddy is over the moon with love for you already. Your big brother is always trying to help me get things ready for you.. and your big sister.. well your papa says she’ll come around.

We are getting your nursery ready and I had this bump shirt and your daddy goes “Too bad they don’t have a shirt like that for guys” he said this with a frown! I couldn’t believe it! So I waddled to my closet and brought back the shirt for him and oh my word he was beyond excited!! You are one lucky little girl.

We can’t wait to meet you.

Birthday Party

I threw a birthday party for the girls this previous weekend. Milo, Misty, Wyatt, and Micah all joined us for some fun at the park. (I didn’t get nearly as many pictures as I’d hoped! Chasing after 6 toddlers is a chore, let me tell you.

Sofia enjoyed the sausage rolls,

Wyatt had such a blast!! Thank you for inviting her! <3  She could not stop chattering away about the girls and how much fun she had at the party! She really adores Sarah and Sofia!

Not really an official bump update or anything...I suck at those things honestly...

This pregnancy is soooo different in so many ways. The biggest being that I am not alone.. I have this amazing man who is holding my hand and rubbing lotion on my expanding belly every step of the way. I am not crying myself to sleep nor wondering if I am doing the right thing by going through with it. I am not wishing I’d never got pregnant... I am excited and I am pretty certain he is more excited than I am honestly!

He plans to help me design the nursery (that wall paper has GOT to go!) and he attends nearly every appointment.He’s always asking questions and finding ways to help I hadn’t even thought about.

It makes me a little sad honestly, that I gave my heart and my body to boys who had no idea how to treat a woman. To boys who couldn’t see more than instant gratification and the next chase or the next thrill. To boy’s who made me feel like I needed to compete for their mediocre attention. I am so so thankful that my girls will be raised with abundant love and hopefully will never do to themselves the things I did to myself..that is my wish for them as a mother.

So I needed a few days to gather myself after my experience with Wyatt.. she is still very adamant that we don’t need and she doesn’t want a new baby sister...

Luckily Hendrix took it MUCH better. He was so so excited.

“Dun worry mama! I will protect my new little sissy!”

I promise I cried tears of relief and joy and happiness.

We decided to break the news to the kids one on one..Wyatt is not thrilled...

“Uh..mama...I dunno...no..I don’t want a baby sister..I’m the baby...”

My heart sunk, I want my babies to love one another and I know it’ll be different once the baby is really here but still...

Wyatt turned to Sandro with her pouty eyes and wobbly chin “Papa...no...tell mama no baby..”

Needless to say, I had to leave because I couldn’t hold back my own tears.

Ava and Zita proved that girls rule at the apple bobbing contest,the guy’s gave it their best shot, but when it comes to using their mouths, the girl’s blew them out of the water! Alessandro surprised everyone the most, as he got down on one knee and proposed, pulling the ring he had been carrying in his pocket out, just as the sun set over Bridgeport. “Ava, you know I’m not a fancy guy, and I don’t have a lot of fancy words, but you and the children mean the world to me. When I first met you, I thought you were the most infuriating, stubborn, opinionated woman I had ever come across, and I grew up with Capelli women, so that says a lot!  I know now that you are indeed all of those things and more, and it’s what makes you such an amazing woman. I’ve spoken to your father, and gotten his permission, and now I need yours. Would you do the honor of becoming my wife Ava Waldoff?” There was of course a lot of squealing, some tears shed, and a couple of toddlers that couldn’t stop giggling, ewwing, and dancing about with excitement when Ava said yes. It was a day none of them will ever forget! (Ava and Cj, both belong to @imsysimsy. Ava has her own mumblr @mamaava bes sure to visit her there!)

So, while the date was already amazing... Alessandro went above and beyond and proposed to me!!!

That’s right!! I am getting Married!! While wave of being afraid still hit Its easy to be happy with Sandro. He reassures me every time I begin to falter.

I still have no idea how I got so lucky to have this strong, loving, intimidating Italian fall in love with me!

Zita, Cj ( @imsysimsy), Ava ( @mamaava), and Alessandro had a double date to the pumpkin patch. They had to go in the evening due to everyone’s schedules, but they still managed to have a wonderful time and everyone found themselves the perfect pumpkin!

We had such a grand time at the pumpkin patch! It was so..odd to see my brother with a girl, let alone her being his wife.. I have to say I am utterly blessed to have the family I do and the man that I do. My children are wild,free spirited and so loving and my man loves me so unconditionally.

Life sure has turned around for me and I couldn’t be more grateful!

                                    First Sleepover

    Hi guys i know its late but i wanted to share these with you Zachary and Jenny had there very first sleepover with Hendrix and Wyatt form @mamaava i want to thank Ava for letting them spend the night. So the kids watched a movie , ran around being silly and had bbq chicken pizza which they loved. Once they got done eating all of them changed into their pjs and headed upstairs they were all supposed to be sleeping ,but Jenny and Wyatt were still so happy to see each other again that they talked and once i came to check on them they stopped talking and started giggling.

32 Weeks Already! Well actually 32 weeks and 5 days, so much has happened since I last blogged. I know I have been kind of awful at this whole thing, but I am trying! Anyways, where to begin?  The pregnancy is going about as good as can be expected at this stage of things. A few small complications have cropped up here and there, and I do have to use my chair now 90% of the time, some days even more, and some days I just don’t have the energy to do more then shop from bed. It is still worth it, and for the most part, I am still loving the feeling of growing this little life inside of me! Our other really huge news is of course that we have bought a new home and are in the process of moving. Well more accurately, we are waiting for the decorators and contractors to clear out. We are suppose to be able to move in this week! I am so in love with the place, but moving late in pregnancy, I do not advise, unless you can afford to hire someone to do all the packing and lifting and organizing and decorating!  Even then, it’s completely exhausting!  Sunday was baby shower day! Ava @mamaava threw me such a beautiful brunch with my closest friends! She posted some lovely photos of the event over on her mumblr! It was amazing being surrounded by all these females that mean so much to me, to soak in their energy and strength. All of the women in attendance were mothers, except for Zita, and Maisee, my step-daughter.  Talk of course was centered around babies, birth, and being mothers, but there was plenty of time to talk hot men, juicy gossip, and plan future get togethers soon I hope!
