When JK risks it all
Because JK does that.
We got quite a few precious moments in the last few days (the two last Tampa concerts). Lots of giggles and touchy and just soft and cute moments.
But today we got JK pushed over the edge.
He has those moments when he just can't hold himself back (as held together as he is when it comes to his interactions with JM in times like this).
He has those moments when the overflow of feelings is so bad that he can't hold himself back.
So he does something impulsive and loud.
And he is willing to risk it all.
Like he did back in May 2019.
Or at the 2019 TMA's.
Or 2022 Las Vegas.
He was on a roll there.
Yeah, JK has those moments where he'll throw it all to the wind. And JM, well he can be loud too, but somehow when JK does these things it overwhelms JM, just like it did this time.
Did I mention how beautiful they are?
cr./@blacknwhite_km
I love them 🥹

He is just too beautiful for words... 🥰
Did you see that clip from the event where fans suddenly started chanting Jimin’s name? Did you hear it? And did you see his reaction?
Social media is only a tiny fragment of everything. It is not a true reflection of reality, real life, or what genuine fans actually feel. That is something I always remind myself of. Jimin is deeply loved by the fandom. Even though we are often more exposed to the online side of things, what people say on social media can sometimes make it seem otherwise. That has happened to me many times, which is why I have spoken about it before.
The truth is that when Jimin steps onto a stage and sees fans in person, the response he receives is completely different. I like to believe he knows that those are the real fans. There are many of us online who defend him, and just as many in real life who truly adore him.
There is always more to the world than social media. This moment during last night's concert and interview in NYC was proof of that. Jimin (and all the other members, for that matter) are so very much loved. 💜
FANDOM BEHAVIOUR
Fandom behaviour is not just interesting. It is layered, psychologically complex and at times deeply unhealthy. The longer I have been part of this fandom, the more obvious that has become to me. Being a fan of BTS has shown me dynamics that go far beyond simply enjoying music or supporting artists. It has exposed how quickly a community can turn into a hierarchy, how admiration can turn into blind loyalty and how identity can become entangled with online validation.
This is the first time I have been in a fandom this passionate and this massive. And passion on its own is not a problem. Passion is beautiful. Passion builds projects, friendships and shared experiences. But when passion begins to feel compulsory rather than voluntary, something shifts. There are moments when being part of this fandom feels less like a free choice and more like an obligation. As if you owe constant participation. As if you owe constant streaming. As if you owe constant public alignment with whatever narrative is currently dominant. That is not healthy. That is social pressure disguised as devotion.
Couldn’t have said it better. I will not be surprised to note how this fandom crumbles further to toxicity levels when it turns out that the boys want to take another long break from group activities post the world tour (and they would very much deserve to take that break!)
3 years they spent in that hell
And finally
Finally
On their last year - the year they were reunited
They could have just spent it by themselves and not done a live
But they chose to spend it with us
And I don’t think people undestand that
What that means
BTS CONSIDERS US THEIR LOVED ONES, THEY CONSIDER US THEIR FAMILY
And that’s why I’ll never subscribe to a shipper or solo, or multi or kpoppies mentality
Because at the end of the day
It’s ONLY ARMY for BTS
And it’s ONLY BTS for army
They weren’t forced to do this, this is entirely their free will
And they came back to us to start the year together
In the wise words of Kim Namjoon
“I don’t think love is a strong enough word. But I want you to know that I love you”

STUCK REPOSTING WHILE THE WORLD BURNS?
I feel like a lot of times, when we see the injustices in the world, we immediately want to do something about it; from raising our voices on social media, to donating, to learning and educating ourselves on such topics, the need we have to help one another is so great that we feel it in our bones.
But at times, it can be overwhelming, especially when you're learning about things for the first time, theres an influx of information hitting you all at once, that you don't even know when to start. I saw this on insta a few days ago and was genuinely surprised that they had referenced a lot of the organizations i was familiar with
So I decided to post it here in hopes that it helps you in your journey towards advocacy and what it can mean to you as well as social equity.
and the thing is that no one organization is 1000% right, there are multiple ways to show up for your community outside of social media. what I've learned though, is that integrity doesn't meant perfection, it means accountability and the constant need to improve so that we may all grow and learn together.
sharing resources, is to me, the best way that I can utilize my voice to bring awareness and to help create a better world for each other.
HOW WE FEED US:
Community gardens - We bring together people, resources, and education to benefit lives and neighborhoods through community gardening Food not bombs - free meals - When a billion people go hungry each day, how can we spend another dollar on war? Food Not Bombs is an all-volunteer movement that recovers food that would otherwise be discarded, and shares with the hungry in over 1,000 cities in 65 countries in protest to war, poverty, and destruction of the environment. Community Fridges - We promote equal access to healthy food through the installation of community fridges (public refrigerators) that are used to share food and ideas at the neighborhood level. Seed Libraries - A robust seed library in every community that is accessible to all and that honors the wisdom of the seeds and their keepers.
HOW WE HOUSE US:
Community Land Trusts: Grounded Solutions Network seeks a future where everyone has access to a home they can afford in economically and racially diverse communities of opportunity that foster better health, academic, and economic outcomes. Land Back Movements: It is acknowledging that only when Mother Earth is well, can we, her children, be well. It is our belonging to the land – because – we are the land. (I fuck with this organization, heavy) Tenants Unions: Tenants Together is a statewide coalition of local tenant organizations dedicated to defending and advancing the rights of California tenants to safe, decent, and affordable housing Famers Land Trust: The Farmers Land Trust works nationally to transact farmland (real estate, fundraising, legal) into community ownership through the Farmland Commons, which are local land holding nonprofit entities that then give 99-year, secure, affordable, and equitable lease tenure to next generation farmers using chemical free, regenerative agriculture. Intentional Living Communities: As a movement, intentional communities have unfulfilled potential to support the wellbeing of the people who live in them - Support each other - Support the shift the world needs towards cooperation, justice, and resilience. People need community. Communities need people. Ecovillage Network: The Global Ecovillage Network envisions a world of empowered citizens and communities, designing and implementing their own pathways to a sustainable future, and building bridges of hope and international solidarity. (An ecovillage is an intentional, traditional or urban community that is consciously designed through locally owned, participatory processes in all four dimensions of sustainability (social, culture, ecology and economy) to regenerate their social and natural environments).
HOW WE SURVIVE:
Mutual Aid Networks: We do not directly organize or coordinate any individual mutual aid effort. We do our best to curate and filter groups doing relevant, valuable work in their communities, but we cannot verify or vouch for any network or individual offerings. Please exercise all necessary judgement when interacting with community members not previously known to you. Worker Cooperatives: We represent the estimated 1,300 worker co-ops in the U.S. and their 15,000 workers. We organize through local cooperative networks while building power with national and international partners to advance an agenda for economic justice rooted in community-based, shared ownership. New Economy Coalition: NEC exists to support a just transition from an extractive to a regenerative economy by building the scale and power of the solidarity economy movement in Black, Indigenous, and working class communities in every region of the United States.
HOW WE GET WHAT WE NEED:
Tool Libraries (MyTurn): We believe every person, organization and company should have affordable access to the tools, equipment and resources they need to innovate and succeed. Whether you’re an individual just getting starting, a startup that needs access to equipment to grow, a university with stretched budgets or a multi-national corporation, we can help you more cost effectively and efficiently access goods and services. Large scale product reuse reduces the use of dwindling natural resources, reduces waste, while improving quality of life to profitability. Don’t just take our word for it, ask our customers. Repair Cafes: Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). In the place where a Repair Café is located, you’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need. On clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, et cetera. You’ll also find expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields. Buy Nothing Groups: Buy Nothing communities are already a global reuse economy with immense social and environmental impact. Our future development will also empower each of us to keep even more items in use, while we build strong communities and sustainable livelihoods for the makers, fixers, and others who transform old into new, over and over again.
HOW COMMUNITIES SHIFT: MEDIA
Transition Towns: In practice, Transition groups create renewable energy projects, support local food production, encourage new businesses, bring nature back into cities, and build strong connections between people and organisations. "Let this radicalize you" by Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba : Longtime organizers and movement educators Mariame Kaba and Kelly Hayes examine some of the political lessons of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the convergence of mass protest and mass formations of mutual aid, and consider what this confluence of power can teach us about a future that will require mass acts of care, rescue and defense, in the face of both state violence and environmental disaster. Upstream Podcast How to fall in love with the future: If you look around at the state of the world—and the despair that comes with the reality of climate change, fascism spreading its tentacles around the world, the ethnic cleansing of Gaza—it's very difficult to feel hope. It begins to feel like the forces of destruction and death have colonized our futures, limiting our dreams and stifling our imaginations. How we show up: As we continue to work towards outer transformation, building the structures and models that will shape the transition to a post-capitalist society, it’s also important to think about the inner transitions within ourselves — particularly, how we relate to one another personally and socially. Degrowth Movement YouTube Video: Degrowth proves putting people over profit would be good for the planet. Some of the most exciting policies include shortening the work week, providing universal basic services, and redistributing income. As we discuss, it’s a form of environmentalism that could join forces with the labour movement to dictate massive, sweeping global changes that could provide a better quality of life for every living being on earth. Blowback podcast
HOW WE TAKE ACTION:
Beautiful Trouble: We believe in people power and the game-changing role that creativity, humor, joy, and mischief can play in the struggle for a better world. We practice shared leadership, modified consensus-based decision making, anti-oppression politics, and international and intersectional solidarity. Activist Handbook: Activist Handbook consists of 450+ guides and 4.7K external resources to help you make more impact with your next campaign. Our guides are written by progressive, green and social activists from all over the world. From The Frontlines, podcast ep: Class is the thread that ties different systems of oppression together—whether it's patriarchy, national oppression, racist oppression, reproductive injustice, anti-trans oppression. Although these forms of oppression impact individuals, they operate on systemic levels. These forms of oppression cannot be understood as single, isolated, or parallel struggles—they are all manifestations of class society and can only be abolished with the end of class society. Class is what ties it all together.
HOW WE STOP FUNDING VIOLENCE:
NWTRCC The National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee: Is a coalition of local, regional, and national groups and individuals from across the United States. For everyone interested in or actively refusing to pay taxes for war, NWTRCC offers information, referral, support, resources, publicity, campaign sponsorship, and connection to an international network of conscientious objectors to war taxes. War Resisters International: The War Resisters League affirms that all war is a crime against humanity. We are determined not to support any kind of war, international or civil, and to strive nonviolently for the removal of all causes of war, including racism, sexism and all forms of exploitation.
HOW WE HEAL:
Sounds of Sand Podcast: Sounds of SAND invites listeners into a contemplative journey through the infinite cycles of existence – from its raw beauty to its deepest mysteries, from its intricate complexity to its profound wonder. Through intimate conversations, thought-provoking interviews, poetic readings, and carefully curated music, we weave together ancient wisdom with lived experience, creating a tapestry of sound that honors the great questions of being. Pacifica Network - Grasroots radio: Pacifica Network is local, independent, community based media practicing the first amendment in a democracy. Our mission is building upon the inherent and historic cooperation between community radio stations. Our goal is to further and sustain grassroots community radio. The Pacifica Affiliate Program helps build collaboration in radio production, journalism, technology, and management between its network members. "Undrowned: Black Feminist Lessons from Marine Mammals - Alexis Pauline Gumbs: Undrowned is a book-length meditation for social movements and our whole species based on the subversive and transformative guidance of marine mammals. Our aquatic cousins are queer, fierce, protective of each other, complex, shaped by conflict, and struggling to survive the extractive and militarized conditions our species has imposed on the ocean. How to Survive the End of the World Podcast: is a podcast on surviving apocalypse with grace, rigor and curiosity.

I don't think I ever shared this one on Tumblr, so here we go! x
Hoping for that birthday live, but first...
This is Jimin's birthday weekend and I know we all hope he comes on live to say hello for his birthday.
But before that happens, I want to revisit his live from Paris after the Dior show. The real english subs are up now and are much better than the auto-translate version.
Of course, as we all know from the hours and hours of video footage and photos that have been circulating on the internet, he looked fantastic that day.
He said he was nervous for this first time out in an official capacity. Even so, he exuded confidence during the event. During this live, he was mostly soft spoken yet everything he said had a quiet assuredness in it.
I know I will cherish it. But it must be shaping up to be something special for him to say this. It must be a very fulfilling experience to be working on it with the other members after this military break.
Then he talked about being a grownup. I believe this was a moment when he attempted to convey that he IS a grown up and should be perceived as such and that he has challenges too, just like the rest of us. Real people, real life.
Fake it til you make it, Jimin. We all have to make it up as we go, meeting anything that comes our way by doing our best.
Thank you to everyone he was speaking to. The auto translate for comments is a great new feature for digital membership. Highly recommend if you can afford it. I think all the members who have done lives since it's implementation have really enjoyed it.
And then he was very direct about something he saw:
As you know... because he has said it since that day back in 2022, that he felt he belonged the most as part of a group. He didn't hesitate either.
Instead of being a shitty solo, listen to Jimin telling you what is most important to him. I'm thrilled he can do both if he chooses, in his own timeframe that he chooses.
When he said "don't worry about me", he shook his head to emphasize that he's got this and for us not to worry about him. His firmness and the self-assuredness came through the screen when he said that. He seems to be in a good headspace, happy, healthy, working and excited to be back.
And then his battery died and he was gone.
Other things he said: they are not at the production stage yet to create choreography; they are going to do their best to be quick about it all and he'd try to do more lives from home.
I love it when he slaps the delulu out of us. I love it when they all do that. I support 7 kings and I will wait patiently for their work to be done.
And now we wait and see if Jimin comes to visit us for his birthday.
HE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I see you with the chest out Jimin!
So happy to see him! Enjoy your trip.

Let's talk about Jikook playing footsies...
Yes, it's a thing.
A thing that they do.
A thing that they have been doing for years.
It's about being naughty...
full video
It's about seeking contact and touch
It's about reaching out, seeking out the other's attention
It's about feeling comfort
This could be unintentional or more so muscle memory. The need to be close, to touch. We've seen this with the two many times. Those two's need to touch. It can be holding or touching hands, it can be standing close to each other a part of them touching or sitting close to each other, at times practically sitting on top of the other.
somebody said that since jimin and jungkook can’t kiss each other, they hold hands instead and idk what to think. 😭 it sounds delusional but
Why does this make me sad? twitter. com/pjjjmklove/status/1445380024484368386 All the space between him & Suga & he gently scooted his cushi
And for all purposes of this post, it can be with their footsies touching.
And of course, the latest...
Like I said, it's a thing with Jikook.
