They performed blackface in a VCR in Bruno Mar’s Uptown Funk. What they’ve done isn’t forgivable, and I understand that. I have no right to defend (nor will I defend) their actions in this incident.
I will not put this in the tags for fear of backlash, but I hope that you understand that I may or may not take a quick break from this blog in general. I love Mamamoo and I personally believe that they didn’t do it to offend people, but I have no right to feel offended because I myself am not black, nor have I had any black ancestry.
But I ask you to acknowledge their swift apology, and that Mamamoo themselves apologised and to not send hate at the girls. You can drop them and unstan, and even unfollow this blog. But I just ask that you don’t go and send hate, and instead send an educated comment and try to educate them on their wrongdoings.
