the pronoun wiki article above ONLY cites mogai-flaggot's blog. brings up geoffrey chaucer for no reason?
the reddit post's comments all appear to be perisex people saying "this is what i've heard." which is fine, but i would have liked to see input from an intersex person as well. when OP asked a commenter why shi/hir pronouns are exclusive, they linked to a tweet that is no longer available.
lgbt wiki also cite's mogai-flaggot's blog, but also number 4, the tumblr post doing research into it.
as for the post, i think it's good! turns out i was wrong about them originating from chakats, but it still is from the furry fandom. now, obviously it came from a place of fetishization, which again, is very bad. but nowadays that specific piece of information is generally unknown, and i've even seen people claim that shi/hir was a pronoun set used derogatorily on intersex sex workers (???). again, no citation, just word of mouth. now, knowing this, i think it's completely justified to be uncomfortable with perisex people using those pronouns. that said, it's really stretching far to call them slurs, considering i haven't seen anecdotes of people using them derogatorily irl, towards a person (but i don't doubt it's happened to someone, somewhere). also, a derogatory term is not always a slur (eg calling a pwNPD a narc is usually derogatory, but not a slur).
5. twitter is not a source
7. neither of the above have citations or source the claim.
you can't use the furry pronouns because 4chan said so.
listening to intersex voices also means listening to even unpopular opinions, and considering them. you might come to the same conclusion as before, but you might learn something along the way.
