This needs to be said. A lot of people saw the performance on the Grammy’s with Sia, and Maddie Ziegler. A lot of people made fun of Sia for “looking like a freak” and “staring at the wall like a freak” or “satanic performance” or some awful criticism like that. Sia is a WONDERFUL, BRAVE, BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, and just UNIQUE artist. She sings her heart out. She sings about her struggles in life, and she really doesn’t like her name//face being out there in the public, but the hate needs to stop. It’s so disgusting, and just.. heart breaking to watch BEAUTIFUL Sia hide her face from the public because of her whole childhood, her life, and everything she’s been through. She suffers from bipolar disorder, Graves Disease, severe anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, yet SHE’S STILL HERE being stronger each day of her life. Her music makes her strong. Sia has wrote suicide letters, done SO many drugs because her childhood was just so sad and hurt her severely. Yet, she NEVER blames ANYONE for her problems. I know the Tumblr community is all about raising awareness about anxiety, suicide, and depression. If you honestly ask me, Sia DESERVED that grammy MORE than Sam Smith. Yes, he’s a talented guy, but.. Sia.. she really has a story. She’s completely inspirational, and I WISH she would’ve won that grammy, took her wigs, and costumes, and shown her beautiful face, and talked to the audience, the world, everyone watching and tell her story and just be strong. She deserves it, and I want to post this to raise awareness for her story, because I HIGHLY DOUBT ANYBODY knows her story, and knows who she is. Maddie Ziegler, the 12 year old from Dance Moms cast is like.. her. Her as a child. Maddie represents Sia is SO MANY WAYS. That’s why she used her for the Chandelier video. She’s such a great mentor for Maddie, and she wants to be there to help Maddie grow into such a strong, beautiful, positive young lady. This picture says so much. She can be herself around Maddie. She can smile. She can just show HER. HERSELF. But, when it comes to society, she KNOWS. she KNOWS society is SO UGLY, MEAN, and CRUEL. She’s so scared of the world, and to be judged, and called names, and just all of that. So, please, if you see, or hear anyone talk badly, or calling Sia a freak, or Illuminati, or any of that, please. Stand up for her. Her story NEEDS to be put out there. Sia, you’re beautiful the way you are. You DESERVED that grammy. Sorry Sam Smith, but you didn’t deserve that as much as she did.
The Sydney Siege is over, and while it could have ended a lot worse, tragedy is still upon us.
While the gunman is dead, two hostages were killed.
Tori Johnson, 34, was the manager of the Lindt Cafe in which the siege was taking place. Johnson is being reported as a hero, as he had attempted to wrestle the gun away from the gunman just before police raided the cafe.
Katrina Dawson, 38, was a lawyer and mother of three. Our thoughts go out to her family, especially her children, as no one should have to lose a mother at such a young age.
Four more are grievously injured, and we wish them all a speedy and smooth recovery. Please keep all the victims, their families, and their friends in your thoughts and prayers today as Australia, as a country, tries to come back from this horrific incident.
Remember, the actions of this man are only the actions of this man. He does not represent the Muslim community, he doesn’t not represent the Islamic religion. Do not take your anger out on any Muslim you may know, and Islam is a religion that promotes and practices peace, and the actions of this man cannot be blamed on the religion.
The guy was also on bail even though he had 40+ accounts of assault and sexual assault and was an accessory to his ex wife’s murder which further draws attention to our shit bail laws

Two fellow Australians have died in the Sydney terrorist attack. This is a sad, sad day. My heart goes out to everyone involved in this tragedy. But let this incident not shake us. We are Australians, we are brave, we are strong and we will not live in fear.

WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING AUSTRALIA’S FIRST TERRORIST ATTACK
There are 13 people being held hostage in a café in Sydney’s Martin Place, where black Shahada flags - similar to those used by ISIS - are being held in the windows. From the reports from the major news source situated across the way from the store, the hostages were taken an hour and a half ago, at around 9:45am sydney time, and the instigator has pressed the hostages against the window and forced them to hold an ISIS flag to show to the cameras. It is suspected that they have explosives in the store. Keep these people in your thoughts. ( sixpenceee ) sources: x , x , LIVE COVERAGE HERE

did you know ferguson protesters are up to vote for for times person of the year?
Ferguson protesters are currently sitting at #8 for Time’s Person of the Year. You can vote for them here.
!!!!!!!!!!!
they’re now third after putin !! keep voting!!
Um HOLY SHIT. Neither Modi nor Putin should be up this far. They are both genocidal. Please don’t let peaceful protesters asking to be treated as humans lose to genocidal maniacs.
FERGUSON PROTESTERS ARE IN SECOND NOW!!! WE CAN DO IT!! KEEP VOTING!!
as an Indian I beg you, PLEASE dont let modi win
It’s critical to know that you can also vote down other candidates. If we all vote down Modi as well, the Ferguson protesters will have a better chance of winning.

Keep the flame going for those we have lost to suicide.
why has this not got any notes
a middle school girl commited suicide here a few days ago..she was 14..
my followers know who this is for.
two of my close friends attempted multiple times
i attempted around this time last year. keep this going.
Today, personally, this is for Robin Williams.
But for today, and every day, it is for anybody who has ever lost anybody to suicide and anybody who has been lost themselves.
I know it probably doesn’t help, but I am so, so sorry.
RIP
Reblogging this twice and this should have way more notes
Every part of the fandom will understand how comforting this short tune is.
My friend Maggie, at the young age of 34, just found out she has a twin, and now it’s up to all of us to help her find them!
I love a mystery!
Please share this photo!

SIGNAL BOOST THIS!!!
Sorry if this doesn’t fit my blog, but what is happening in Ferguson, Missouri is no laughing matter. Our first amendment rights to free speech and peaceful assembly are being thrown out the window. Our police force is becoming increasingly militaristic and it is time that we assert ourselves as American citizens, we are NOT animals to be corralled through excessive force, we will NOT stand idly by as our basic human rights are violated, we will NOT let the police prevent journalists from keeping us informed. We demand JUSTICE for those murdered and injured through police brutality.
Write your representative
Write to President Obama
Raise awareness on social media #Ferguson
Enough is enough.
