Its been a long time not to put any words in this blog. Then I scrolled down all my previous post then realize i have already put many things here - with random subject - then now I ask myself again, where i went these last year hence I didnt write anymore?

Having time with family - is Priceless!!

Currently, sudah terjun ke dunia kerja dan makin susah nyari waktu untuk pulang kampung. Bahkan bukan hanya itu, the cost sometime is very expensive to me kalau pulang hanya sebentar. Jauh beda banget sama kuliah dulu saat masih bisa berkumpul dengan keluarga bahkan hingga 2-3 bulan dan itu bisa dibilang 2x dalam setahun.

Am I shocked? Ngga juga sebenarnya, karena semenjak kuliah tau akan ngehadepin kondisi ini.

Sometime, kondisi ini bikin gw bertanya2 kembali ke diri gw sendiri. Sebuah pertanyaan klasik yang kayaknya pernah dipikirkan oleh anak rantau se-nusantara. “balik dan tinggal di kampung atau tetap di jakarta ya?”

Jujur, karena memang mungkin bagi gw the hardest goodbye itu adalah ketika meninggalkan rumah dan keluarga, dan ada perasaan takut will I meet them again?

Meskipun sampai saat ini jawabannya masih sama, I will stay in Jakarta until the time that even I dont know. Alasan paling klasiknya karena many things need to explore di ibu kota ini dan belum bisa pulang kampung dengan modal yg secetek sekarang.

Ok, back to the topic 🤗karena udah mau berangkat kerja jadi gw persingkat saja hehe. Semakin gue ngerasa makin susah ketemu keluarga, not only time matters but the cost too, gue lebih menghargai kebersamaan gue dengan keluarga dan butuh lebih sadar dan ingat lagi bahwa living in Jakarta adalah perjuangan. Bertemu dan having Qtime adalah hal yang berharga banget dan itu adalah opportunity cost gw tinggal di jakarta. Its a very expensive cost for sure!!! Jadi, gw butuh utk terus sadar ini, so I can living in Jakarta with clear goals, pursuing what I dream of dan ya ga terlalu leha2 dan terlena towards what I currently received!

Ok nanti lanjut lagi, siap2 dulu🤪

Love will always lead us to be a better person. More and More.

Just a random talk, and I’ve just realized this after years.

I just found that the biggest motivation for improving myself to be better person is LOVE.

Yes, we call it love.

No matter which people or person you love, make sure and find that this love will lead and bring you to be better.

Love will become a behind reason for me to do something good and impactful. Something that will send me to become a person that worth to proud by people that I love.

Is there any example?

A very simple example.

Love to my mother, father and brother.

They are a big motivation to me in many aspects of my life. In education, to show to them how I love them, I try to become a good student, diligent and provide something good from my school annual report, good score in my exam etc. I asked myself? Which way to show off my love to my family? And I answer it with myself too, ‘To become a good kid and a good sister and of course I must responsible to every responsibility that they believe me to handle. They send me to get higher education, so I must responsible for that”

That’s why, sometime when I feel so lazy to do my homework, read books or another positive things, then I whisper to myself, “Do you love your family? If yes, then show it”

As like family, to show love to my friend, cousins etc with the same way too! When I love my friend, I like to see when they are doing something positive and just feel not comfortable when see they did something negative which do not give any positive impact for them. Its inevitable that usually I chose to build a good relationship with friend after I see many positive things to replicate from them.

I am easy to love a person who always show positive things and not arrogant, show their respect and compassion to me. Too easy. That’s why choosing friend (and of course boyfriend) by making their character as the first consideration.

When I love my friend, I try to show positive behavior and character to them. That’s why, when I asked my self, why I must to be good person? Then I answer, “Because I also want my friend to be good person too! I want to share positive vibes with them”.

This section should be a section with longer explanation. That is LOVE TO MYSELF (YOURSELF).

I can say, not all the people in this world love themselves, maybe it also me But, believe or not being falling in love to ourselves is a must. Because it will become a driver for us to become a good person in any conditions. And sometime, I think that this is become the foundation of another love that we build. When we love ourselves first, then we can love others better

Loving ourselves can we show in many ways. We show off to ourselves this love by improving and enhancing many positive things in our daily life. Build a very good relationship with God, family and friend is one of the way. Moreover, to build a good character and value inside of us is also the way. There is so many way to show off this love.

I don’t know what to say at this section more, but I want say that I really want that me and another people out there can love themselves purely. No matter what the conditions.

Love is life. We cannot live without love.

Allah loves us then Allah gives us food, drink and oxygen.

Allah loves us then Allah gives us a family and friend that love and support us.

Yes. I don’t know how this life will be if we are without love.

So, lets protect the love, for every kind of love.

Respect to people that loving you and give them your love too.

Give more love and compassion to people that you are loving, show them off how big and how meaningful this love.

Love has its own tremendous impact to our life. Lets protect the love, show and share it.

Lets love ourselves and love others too.

Love is life. Life is love.

Virginity Fraud

Hi, Guys! I am going to share about Virginity Fraud. This topic I got after watched Ted Talks which also talk about Virginity Fraud. So, first may be we can start with the definition, what is virginity fraud actually?

Well... The definition is a little bit difficult to explain but I will try xxxx. I describe virginity fraud as a condition where girl cannot do several things because there is a myth that those things could steal their virginity. Actually, this is very common in society, we can find people that judge girls when they do some sports such as bike and ballet dance, these things people think can steal the virginty. But actually its totally not.

We can see many women make a restriction of themselves because they afraid with this myth, they afraid that they won’t virgin again. Moreover, several times I saw people in Social Media, when they see girl who doing ballet dance or any other sports that people think could steal virgnity, these people will judge and act as if they have a pity to the girl because they think that virginity of those girls has dissapear. Of course, this is not good and this condition I define as a virgnity fraud.

Based on the Ted Talk that I watched, there is no way to check virginity which had been proven. In other words, we cannot judge whether a girl is virgin or not just by their hymen or just by what sport they do. Because, hymen is very elastic. Elastic mean it can back to the original form even after there is something that break it through. So, what things that I want to say is people cannot judge girl whether girls are virgin or not. Because hymen will back to the original form even after you have sex.

This evidence make the test that conducted in Indonesia Military school is not valid. As we know that, in Indonesia when girls will get into military school, their virginity must be checked by cheking their hymen. Morever, there is a thing which funny. When I found several article which post about how to check girl virginity by it looks. Oh man, please! Why you are so curious about this one. I really want to make you know that there is only one way to know wether a girl is virgin or not, that is by asking her. And the way she answer is her choice.

Now girl. Do any activity that you want to do. Don’t be affraid of the myth about our virginity. Be free.

IYA, KARENA CANTIK ITU TIDAK MELULU KULIT PUTIH.

Waktu kecil, aku selalu mengidentikkan cantik itu adalah dia yang kulitnya putih. Tapi makin kesini, justru risih dengan pandangan itu.

Entah berangkat darimana. Tetapi, cantik itu menurutku semakin beragam. Tidak hanya dia yang kulitnya putih, tetapi juga dia yang berkulit hitam, sawo matang dan warna kulit lainnya. Ada fase dimana aku begitu mengagumi mereka yang berkulit hitam dan cokelat. Entah mengapa, mereka menawan, dan tentu tidak kalah menawan dengan yang berkulit putih. Akhirnya sadar lagi, kalau cantik itu memang benar bukan tentang warna kulit, tapi ada hal lain yang lebih mampu membuat ku mendefisikan cantik itu apa dan hal-hal ini yang justru membuat ku lebih lama untuk melihat 'cantik' itu sendiri.

Aku penyuka film barat. Film barat itu menurutku mengajarkan banyak hal, tidak hanya dari cerita film yang diangkatnya tetapi juga aktor yang berperan didalamnya. Setelah nonton, biasanya aku mengagumi beberapa aktor cewek didalamnya, kenapa kagum? Karena bagiku dia cantik. Cantik bukan karena kulitnya hitam atau cokelat atau putih, tapi karakternya di film itu. Berani, cerdas dan respect terhadap orang lain benar-benar membuat ku mampu mendifinisikan cantik itu kembali. Iya mereka cantik karena karakternya.

Ada lagi. Kadang aku iseng lihat foto-foto perempuan dari berbagai negara. Dan memang, baik hitam maupun putih ataupun cokelat, mereka cantik. Ada keunikan sendiri didalamnya.

Aku tidak mau bilang perempuan-perempuan di Amerika lebih cantik dari perempuan di Afrika, ataupun sebaliknya. Karena seperti kata ku tadi, mereka punya keunikannya masing-masing yang membuat ku mampu mendefinisikan kembali cantik itu apa.

Cantik itu beragam.

Allah menciptakannya dengan indah.

Eventually... Respect and loyalty are the weapons to make girl fall in love, or at least make girl remember you in her life.

Fall in love with a man who isn't just show his strength, bravery and confidence, but he also shows his vulnerability and his sensitivity.

A man who redefine his strength, bravery and confidence to explore his head to his heart. A man who strong enough to be sensitive, cry when there is something hurt him or make him happy even it makes him looks weak. A man who confident enough to listen to his girl, asking for solution, ideas and still respect to that even those against him.

Man....

CSR and CSI

I took CSR subject in my 7th term. It was interesting and meaningful. That subject made me know about how csr exist, how it transformed until the new era, how useful CSR and I can know about how business parties see CSR, either as the way to make more profit or as the way to make an impact to society.

But, one thing that I never hear when I took that subject is about CSI (Corporate Social Impact). I think CSI bring wider meaning than CSR. Because it directly talks about the impact, not just an obligation by the company to society when company is getting profit.

CSI talk about how company can contribute to society problem such as poverty, hunger, climate change, inequality etc by making an impact which can solve/reduce those society problem.

Kamu sudah baik ke mereka. Menjadi pendengar yang baik untuk setiap cerita dan keluh kesah mereka. Jika mereka tak mau mendengar, bahkan sebelum kamu memulai cerita mu, sungguh tak apa.

Betapa Allah mencintaimu, bahkan untuk hal kecil ini saja Dia tidak mau kamu mengharapkan mahluk untuk mendengarmu. Cukup Dia.

Be good to others. Be good to many people as possible. Devote yourself to love. Give what you can give. Brave enough to care ❤

Project Mereka Emang Keren-keren Banget, SALUT! 💓

Masih inget liburan smt lalu, banyak temen2 yg nanya, "kok ui/feui ga diwajibkan kkn?" bahkan ada yg pernah bilang, "gimana mau pengabdian ke masyarakat kalo ga kkn?". Masih inget beberapa dosen pernah bilang kalau anak2 feui itu tipe2 org yg tidak suka dikekang. Dan memang, pada beberapa hal, karakter ini menonjol banget. Sebut saja dlm ranah 'pengabdian', mereka mengabdi dengan cara yang mereka sukai dan pada ranah yg mereka concern terhadap itu, baik pendidikan, kemanusiaan dan ranah yang lainnya. Menurutku, cara seperti juga memberikan impact, baik pada masyarakat maupun pada mereka yang memang menginisiasi ataupun melaksanakan projek tersebut.

Aku sering salut dengan projek-projek yang teman-teman ku buat. Yang menurutku sangat inovatif, fresh dan bermanfaat. Walaupun saat ini, aku masih sedih karena belum mampu membuat impact yang besar seperti yang mereka lakukan.

Untuk kesekian kalinya aku bilang pada diri dan teman-teman ku bahwa KKN itu tentu bukan satu-satunya cara untuk mengabdi ke masyarakat. Masih ada cara lain yang sesuai dengan versi dan concern kita masing-masing. Itu semua berbalik kepada diri masing-masing, bahwa ada diantara kita yang memang ingin mengabdi dan sayangnya juga ada sebagian yang tidak ingin. Yang pasti, berbagai bentuk pengabdian yang dirancangkan untuk kita ataupun yang kita rancang sendiri adalah sama-sama perbuatan baik yang juga memberikan dampak yang baik, terlepas dari besar atau kecilnya dampak tersebut.

Sering gagal tak apa.

Hanya saja jangan salahkan Tuhan.

Emotional is something really important, because it determine how people life and act in society. Emotional can create happiness both for ourselves and for others, and it also can create something really bad such as murder, impatience and etc. All of those is just depend on how we manage the emotional.

Aristoteles had ever said that, "that easy to angry. But to angry with the right reason, right degree, and with right person is not easy".

Tonight, I've learnt about how important the emotional intelligence. To realize that spreading good spirit and enthusiastic smile can change morose mood and sullen face to people around us. Realize that spreading good spirit is making the others around us spirit too.

Maybe it has become the common lexicon that many of us are now being not too care about people around us. We didn't listen them, we didn't understand them. And all those testiness create many depression either visibile or not.

Hei, let's make sense of senselessness. 💗

Mandiri Young Leader 2017

This is not the first self development programme selection which I have joined. I have joined several self development programme selection such as Astra1st, XLFuture Leader, Inkompass by Sampoerna, P&G and I failed in those all self development programme which I mention before. Hence, Mandiri Young Leader is the fifth self development programme that I join and currently I am on the 3rd selection level.

I know and realize that every self development from company has tight selection process. I found many top students in every self development programme that I join. Its common for me that sometime I felt fear to compete with them. And foremost reason for that is because I thought my english skill was low, whereas they were really fluently in speaking and maybe writing in english. Sometime, I say to myself that it worth if their english skill more than me, it because they are had courses from they were in elementary school, took many other courses, excercises a lot and so on, but me, haha I just learn english seriously from my 2nd year of collage, the time when I really realize about how important english is and I still remember that it was the time that I really felt so stressed out because my english skill was so fucking bad.

When I think that I have a low skill in english, at the time my confidence level would decrease. It just hard and hurt.

But, Believe or not that joining self development programme will push you to learn english seriously. Every self development programme will require every candidate to have english skill and they will test it in the selection process. And this is what I have got from every self development that I joined, even I wasn’t won, but at least I can learn, improve my skills and enhance my expenrience, increasing my confidence as well.

I am ready for every bad and good news from Mandiri Young Leader. Because, sometime being fail it just common. Not just fail in self development programme, but I also had rejected by so many companies to take internship. Its okay :) Just try and make sure that I have learnt something from it.

Now, All I can do is to give the best analysis and effort that I can at Mandiri Young Leader Selection. Maybe without a hope to become finalist or winner, but I will do it just by my huge enthusiasm to learn and try something new that good for me.

Global Learning Crisis

Education, is one of the most important aspect of all country all over the world. Put high and higher over decade in the allocation of Education budget is very common in most countries. America, vietnam and Indonesia as example. Indonesia, if we see the budget allocation from President Soeharto Era, Habibie era, gusdur era and so on, were always put higher allocation in education along every president era. Lets pick another example, US (or india if i am not wrong) put 20% allocation in education of the state budget from the very first president era. It was a high number right? That's why many people complain that wether another aspect such as infrastructure : road, water etc are not important?

Supprisingly, classical answer from Amel Karboul came, "infrastructure is constructed in our mine". Well, that statement is the first statement by Amel which really made me feel "omg she is great".

Moreover, Amel Karboul in her Ted Talk in October 2017 with title 'Global Crisis Learning - what to do about it' is the talk which really made me interesting as the education enthusiast.

In there, Amel state that goverment in many countries are already investing much in education. But is all those investment really deliver the result? A very good question for me.

As we know, goverments are try hard to provide good and best quality education for all, easy to access, and free for everyone. The fact is, some student out of school, and the rest still in school. But the fact again is, some student that stay in school are failing to learn. Students that fail to learn are make the devaluation of the investment, where the investment cannot deliver result.

This is the struggling problem that the world face nowadays. So, how to make that every student are learning? How to make sure that every student can grow in his/her school?

Amel kalbour argue that make a very good education system in school, to make sure that everyone can learn or grow in the school. Moreover, we also must use technology to achieve this. Technology in education will make student more enjoy the learning process and help to provide wide content. Importantly, technology will bring school to children if the children can not go to school to learn in class.

Maybe, there are still many ways that we need to explore to know about how to reduce global learning crisis.

Finally, all we hope from big investment in education from goverment will deliver the result. Every students can get benefit from this big investment, everyone can grow and learn.

But. Actually there is a big think that become the most significant factor that will make us happy in our life, that is RELATIONSHIP.

Relationship, is not about how many relations that you make with, but its about the quality of the relationship.

Make a good or even best relationship with GOD, family, friend and community will make our life happy and happier.
