Hi. My name is Daniel and I came across your site and am very impressed with your work on the Mitchell Pro-100. I just bought one and am looking to fix mine up as well and was inspired seeing yours! Mine is the model with out reverb, but other than that is identical to yours. It sounds like mine is experiencing similar problems to what your was originally. Quiet and very distorted. How did you fix the sound? I'm planning to replace the electrolytic caps. Is that what you did to fix it? Thanks!
Hey Daniel. The first thing I would try is cleaning the tube sockets with contact cleaner. Spray it directly into the sockets and push a tube in and out a few times. Secondly, replace any bad tubes. Make sure to clean all the pots with contact cleaner as well. Let me know if that helps!
