Grogu is taking a pit stop in Japan for a cute new short promoting Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.
The Instagram reel shared by Star Wars Japan places Grogu inside a Japanese conveyor belt sushi restaurant, where plates of sushi glide past him as he watches with wide-eyed fascination.
The caption from the Star Wars Japan account reads, âă°ăăŒă°ăŒăäœçżéŁăčăăăïŒâ which translates to, âGrogu, how many plates can you eat?â
The post continues, âFood-loving Grogu. Mesmerized by conveyor belt sushi in Japan,â followed by a note that Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is now playing in theaters.
In the video, Grogu sits at the counter as plates of sushi move by on the belt in front of him. The setup features a warm, Japanese-style restaurant backdrop, with sliding screen-style panels behind him and colorful plates circling the counter.
Grogu watches with curiosity as a wide variety of sushi plates pass by, including tuna, salmon, egg, and more.
As the promo continues, Grogu appears to settle into the meal, picking up sushi and enjoying the experience.
By the end, stacks of empty plates have piled up beside him, while grains of rice are scattered around the counter â and his face. An adorably fitting aftermath for the young foundlingâs appetite.
The video ends with the Japanese logo for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
