As a classicist who loves Helen of Sparta and a long-time comic book fan whose favourite character is Talia, this one is particularly painful for me. You couldn't pit two badder bitches against each other.

That said? Vote Talia. Is Helen one of The Original Wronged Women in the western canon? Yes. But she's consistently had written defenses from classical times onwards and is largely beloved in the modern day.

But every time I bring up Talia, whether online or in real life, I get ignorant, misogynistic, racist answers from people who clearly don't know their comic book history and often haven't even read a single comic with her in it, let alone a pre-2006 comic, which is when Grant Morrison Attacked. I think Talia should win this whole thing, honestly. There isn't a greater victim of fandom misogyny that I know of anyway.

So, yeah. I implore you all: Vote Talia.
