james, who always pays attention to regulus no matter where they are, does the sweetest little things that melt regulus every time he does them. it's james wordlessly taking regulus' water bottle and opening it when he notices regulus struggling, even if regulus isn't looking his way. it's james brushing off lint or fixing a stubborn lock of regulus' hair in place, even in the middle of an argument. it's james randomly bending down to tie regulus' shoe when even regulus hadn't realized it was untied. it's james gently pulling down regulus' shirt when he's taking off his hoodie in front of others. it's james tucking the blanket over regulus' feet while they watch netflix. it's james putting his hand over regulus' head to shield it from bumping into the open shelf. it's regulus falling in love all over again every single time.
