【ＴＨＥ　ＡＦＴＥＲＬＩＧＨＴ】-synopsis

this is mostly about what could have happened after season 4,(lmk)and is just fanfic, please don't take anything said in the story seriously. again, this is just fanfic. i did this for fun and as a way to improve my art. well, not only that but to use my ideas for something at least.

i wanted this story to emphasize on mk actually realizing THIS is his 'new found reality,' and how he'll try managing through challenges and overall denial/ depression.

so, that being said, this will cover some HEFTY topics- like self acceptance and general depression.

well... look whose back? yeah, i know, I've been gone for a while... nine months is somewhat- crazy to say the least. but! I've been working a ton to get the comic done. the thing is, school hasn't been the best for me so I had no time to work on this. again, sorry. aside from that, i changed a lot of things in the comic's general layout and the title. the new title is now called 'the afterlight'. i will be posting the first panels of the comic by the end of this week so i can feed you guys something. also, we got a cover page! yayyyyy..... i am thankful for your patience and i assure you, its going to be worth it.💜

will there be ships?

kind of like a yes no thing?

the comic will not have ships, except shadowpeach, because they are wholesome. please don't come at me, i am just not a ships person. some characters in the show are either WAY too old for one another or very young for a specific person. i only genuinely fw shadowpeach and red son's parents because age difference doesn't matter since they are (shadowpeach) immortal and red son's parents have an age balance. but mk and mei shipped w the other characters? not so much. its like shipping a 4 yo w/ a 90 yo. so, ships- not so much grrrr 😔😔

will this be age appropriate?

no, only for 13 and up since it does cover some HEAVY topics.

mk and mei have gone through a ton, i am just going to make it much more realistic to what a normal person would go thru going thru.. THAT. it would be so traumatizing. waking up one day and being told you were born to die would mess me up real good.

how long will the comic go?

not sure, but i am mostly de-motivated. 1- 2 chapters at most.

disclaimer: i will NOT be posting frequently. i am usually so exhausted and de-motivated most of the time. school is also weighing me down having Saturday classes and all and a whole national exam at the end of the year, pretty tiring. but, do not fret because we get some off days once in a while so i will have time to work on it and relax at the same time. i really don't want to overwork myself.

during my midterm, which is 1-2 weeks away. i will have time to sleep and work on this non stop to make up for the nonfrequent posting.

well, I've been thinking- if Mk can transform in to various animals, what about things like- goddess forms? combinations of mystic animals like unicorns and- well.. mermaids? i know it sounds stupid but i find shapeshifting cool. i mean, what are ocs for?

and when mk was transforming into his monkey form, it was a long and somewhat.. painful process. i thought that maybe with other powerful transformations could it be the same? so, the stronger/powerful the form is, the more painful it is to handle.?
