You just arrived home to your apartment from your tiring day working at the cafe. You lay on the bed as a thought came to mind to those delicious cookies in the kitchen that you, with Pierrot, had made yesterday. A little night snack won't hurt.
You entered the kitchen and opened the cupboard where the jar of cookies was kept, but it wasn't there. Strange, you remember it was there and definitely haven't misplaced it.
Crunch. Munch. Munch.
You looked toward the sound and there stood Harlequin with your jar of cookies, munching away on your cookie. He doesn't even like sweets. Is this some petty payback when I pulled that little prank on him last time?
Harlequin noticed your annoyed expression towards him, in response he ate another cookie while exaggerating on how the cookie tasted so good and saying how sad that you can't have one. He's totally purposely goading you right now.
You tried to snatch the jar from his hands but he was faster and held the jar over his head. You tried to reach for it and even tried pulling his arms down. Harlequin pulled out his green tendrils and tossed the jar from one tendril to the other making it even harder. Harlequin was totally enjoying this game too much.
After a few minutes of getting toyed around by Harlequin, you had enough and tackled him down, which caught Harlequin off guard as he fell back to the floor. You victoriously held up your cookie jar, finally in your hands, sitting on Harlequin's back.
When you were going to have your first bite of the cookie, Harlequin used his tendril wrapping around the cookie, and that fueled you with more annoyance. And this continued through the night.
The next day at the cafe, behind the counter, you barely slept that night, and at the worst time possible, Harlequin showed up with his usual ‘punch-able’ face. Harlequin leaned on the counter and pulled out a cookie and waved it at your face, taunting you with that mischievous smirk. The audacity of this annoying bastard of a clown. *(eye twitch)*
