When you read the story of Musa عليه الصلاة والسلام from his statement
قال رب بما أنعمت علي فلن أكون ظهيرا للمجرمين
He was granted strength from Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ and he said, (after he killed the Coptic accidentally because of his strength), “My Lord I won’t that which you’ve bestowed of me of blessings (I.e. his strength according to some of the tafaseer) I won’t be an assistant to the criminals.”
You see that he recognized his strength and said he won’t use it for haram. Every single one of us has been given some sort of blessing over the other, recognize it and use it for khayr. Hassan ibn Thabit was a poet, he used this against the k*ff in fighting back against their poems against the prophet ﷺ, Khalid bn Walid, was strong he used his strength against the k*ff, Abdur-Rahman bn Awf was wealthy, he used his wealth to support the muslimeen. Abu Hurayra, Ibn Abbass, they had good memory and benefitted the muslimeen with their knowledge. There are so many more examples.
If you’re intelligent, improve your knowledge, be smart, benefit the ummah with it, if you’re eloquent, improve your eloquence benefit the ummah in giving da3wah, if you’re strong, strength train and benefit the ummah with your strength or have the intention for when the time would come, if you’re able to get wealthier do so, POVERTY is not a flex, please stop romanticizing it, if you’re able to be rich do so with the intention of aiding the ummah, if you have a good memory, memorize the Quran and ahaadith, seek knowledge and benefit the ummah.
Each one of us has a role to play, each one of us is unique in their own way with that which has been bestowed upon you from Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ, you just need to find yours, be grateful to Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ, ask Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ for assistance and improve that blessing.
وابتغ فيما آتاك الله الدار الآخرة…
