I think we’re all on the same page here as far as that goes. Holmes and Watson’s relationship is sacred, and if you change that, then the show is not about Holmes and Watson anymore. There are some things you can play with and some you can’t. The fact that one’s a man and one’s a woman is irrelevant; it’s who they are as people that’s important. The original Holmes and Watson were not romantically involved and, therefore, neither should we [be romantically involved]. It’s good to have people’s minds racing and thinking one thing or another, but we’re in the Holmes and Watson business. That won’t change unless someone else swoops in and takes over and turns the ship upside-down.

building on the previous question about roundabouts, do you think us in america will ever transition to them? I think it could really improve infrastructure and drastically reduce crashes and other traffic related incidents.

We’ve had several added in my town, and I love them. People often say that they make intersections more dangerous which is demonstrably untrue. What they do is increase the number of accidents (slightly) while decreasing the number of deadly accidents DRAMATICALLY. Everybody slows down at a roundabout and they require you to pay attention and think. Stoplights, on the other hand, allow the potential of flying through at fullspeed and if anybody happens to not see or mis-read the light, serious accidents are almost inevitable. 

Converting stoplights to roundabouts is difficult though. Roundabouts take more space, and once you’ve got a bunch of stoplight intersections, the government has to buy the land from whatever private organization owns the land that they need to convert the intersection to a roundabout. So, no, we won’t be able to convert 100%.

We have a ton load of roundabouts in Ireland. The county where I live, Galway, is notorious for having god awful drivers who won’t use roundabouts correctly so they are taking them out. 

I only came across two mini roundabouts in my time in America. It was very strange approaching from the “wrong side”.

What audio trick did you use to make your Flowey voice sound more mechanical?

Double the track and pitch one up and one down. It creates a weird discorded harmony if you do it right which sounds off. Very simple to do
