For all of my followers/potential interactions

I am sorry for the unexplained absence, I honestly have been in a very bad place lately. I am not trying to play a victim, as some have said, but I rather am coping and seeking professional help. In other news, I am planning on bringing (at least) this blog back. Once again, I am sorry and I hope that I did not cause anyone any strife.

‘I remember being  maybe 2 and seeing the nuns that ran the orphanage, and according to the note that was left with my twin, Anfri, and I, when we were left on my adoptive parent’s doorstep. The orphanage had closed, and my parents couldn’t have their own. We were maybe 3?”n She sighed, “It’s all been told to me through stories...” She handed him a tattered book, written by the Chinese fiction author Shen Congwen. “It was my favorite growing up.”

So here is where we find Kallum, he decided to pick up a new job since his photography shoots have been going a little dry and he was on his first trip away with a colleague to secure a deal. However, when the pair arrived, they discovered the hotel had double booked and they would be forced to share a room, which Kallum didn’t mind too much. After the deal went well, the pair decided to celebrate with a few drinks at the hotel bar, well a few drinks was led by more few drinks until before they knew it was getting late. The pair decided to head up to their room and try and get some sleep but not before having a nightcap.

When he entered the room, he needed to take a shower due to having been in his suit all day now and with the drink inside of him, he needed them gone. “Make us a drink, I need to take a shower real quick.” Kallum said to Joseph as he begun undoing the buttons to his shirt and disappeared into the en-suite. He did what he said and it wasn’t long before Kallum returned out from the en-suite but now was only wearing a white towel around his waist. “So, what drinks this hotel have in that mini fridge?” Kallum said as he hand his right hnd through his still wet hair and walked over to where Joseph was.

“Not work, actually. I have to maintain my blog, lest I lose followers.” He shrugged, “This is me loosening up.” He chuckled as he slid his tie all of the way off before he looked up. 

His mouth went dry before he looked at his laptop once more. He was too stubborn to admit that it was very difficult to actually concentrate. And yet, his sarcasm came out. “Concentrate...sure.” He shook his head, “I don’t even sleep nude, how you can be like this in front of me is a shock to me, honestly...and I just said that out loud...great...”He said, mumbling the last half. 

And yet, his mind was running wild on how it would feel to kiss the other man. He imagined the kiss slightly rough, but yet his lips soft. 

“Anyway.” He sighed, closing the laptop, and yet still looking at it, “blogging is kind of like venting for me; it promotes support, connects like-minded people, and even goes so far as to help with my public presence.”

“Basically” He gave a light smile, “It’s not so bad, though. Decent view, bed’s comfy enough.” He shrugged as he tried to pull out his laptop to work on his blog to distract himself. When the other bent over, he felt his pulse quicken as he looked while Kallum faced away from him. He quickly looked back at the screen and took a sip of his own drink. 

“If it works, it works,” He shrugged, trying to be nonchalant. “I agree, complete myth. Consumption has nothing to do with orientation.” 

He looked at his keyboard, fingers hesitating slightly before he began to type what he was thinking about the topic proposed by a follower. For being as intoxicated as he was, the blog was still second nature to him, even if he would edit the post in the morning before meetings. 

“At least there’s something, though.” He said, clearing his throat and loosening his tie.

Joseph, ever the one loving traveling, took the opportunity for every trip he could, business or otherwise. He didn’t mind having to share a room, but if we were being honest, he was nervous. Having been raised and having been moderately conservative most of his life, he had mixed emotions of the other. He was friendly to him and Joseph saw him as a nice guy, but Joseph saw him as very attractive. Some would even go as far as to say that he was in the closet and his ex was merely a beard. 

When he was requested to make a drink, he nodded and let the other shower, but his mind was wandering. He shook his head to clear it, and went to the mini-bar. His drink of choice was whiskey, and so made himself a drink. As he was bout to make the other’s, he looked up to answer and cleared his throat. “Uhm, yeah. It has some whiskey, some rum, everything else doesn’t seem any good. Anything you’d prefer?” He blinked, forcing his head up to the other’s eyes and slow his breathing.

Natalie was anxious, it was her first day with a new family. She was balancing school and being a nanny, and it wasn’t easy, but God, was it worth it. She looked at her phone, and checked the address again, making sure it was correct. “This is it.” She said to herself, knocking on the door and putting on a smile to hide her nervousness. 

When someone opened the door, she adjusted the bag on her arm, “Heya, I’m Natalie. Natalie Harrisson?”

Natalie laughed along with her new little friend. “And I her, to be honest.” She looked up at him with a smile, “I have a feeling that this will work out well.”

Dean smiled softly at her and Maggie and nodded his agreement with Natalie. “I think it will too. That makes me happy.” He said, still smiling.

Natalie chuckled as the girl tugged in her arm, wanting to play more. “So, are there any schedules I should be aware of?” She asked, then turning from Dean to Maggie. “Ms. Maggie, are there things you and daddy do every day?”

Dean looked at Maggie before smiling. “She knows what we do every day. We have a nap around 1 and then we have a snack after she wakes up, that’s something to hold her until dinner, something healthy. She loves fruit for snack.” He explained to Natalie, still observing her with Maggie.
