Maybe this is petty of me, I don’t give a fuck. I’m not going to join a fucking boycott that started over a new LI, where majority of said CN girlies were being racist as fuck.

The discourse over Caleb is so fucking funny to me.

Like relax it’s a fucking game. Caleb isn’t real, MC isn’t real, it’s literally a bunch of pixels on screen.

My god it really shows that a majority of the Caleb girlies haven’t seen/ played anime/otome games because let’s be real it’s a common troupe.

Anyway if this is what’s you quit playing the game, good riddance. I’m tired seeing people whine.

Why are there so many fanfic authors doing commissions now?

Maybe I’m just old school and been around too long but the fact that in the last couple of years I’ve seen and uptick in post about commissioning fanfics. The fact is yes it’s technically illegal to pay someone for fanfic. Back in the day a fan fic authors got sued for even posting their fanfics. To me it seems like an unnecessary risks that people are taking, that can effect all fandoms if it gets out of hand.

Obviously I think the bigger issue is why is there is a trend taking your hobbies and making money off of them. I see this more with the younger side of fandoms where they want to be paid for their works. And to a certain extent I think, yeah it would be nice to be paid but on the other hand imo I feel like because of this, it’s changed how fandom spaces feel compared to a couple of years ago.

Maybe I’m just getting old lol

Hot take no one will probably agree with

I hope that if Infold ever brings the massive fan events with their cosplayers to other countries, that they choose Asian cosplayers and not white cosplayers. I want Infold to let minority cosplayers have a chance at being the face instead.

Honestly I’m tired of seeing all the big name cosplayers be majority white. I just want other people have the chance at success.

And like the whole ‘it doesn’t matter who you are anyone can cosplay’ I agree with but when it comes down to it I would like to see more diversity when it comes to companies paying cosplayers for commissions. That’s all 👋
