something that i love about kingdom hearts is the function of Org XIII in the plot. They seem to have an infinite capacity for scheming and machinations, and their motivations are often left up to mystery until each game's climax as they encourage Sora to stay on course in his fight against the heartless, because it plays right into their hands.

"We can't stray from this path, even if it helps the organization accomplish their shady goals." often feels like a recurring helpless situation the player is in.

but then you hit them really hard and they die. all of that scheming and preparing and machinating is rendered pointless once you hit them really hard .
