“It’s easier to pretend break-ups are easy and not at all complicated. Why is it expected of you to get someone out of your head, out of your heart, out of your system so quickly?” It was more of a rhetorical question but Scarlett wouldn’t mind hearing the blonde’s opinion on the matter. From the way she conducted herself, Scar had a feeling she had a lot to say. “Well, liking his picture was a mistake on your behalf,” she said with a playful smile. “The next time he calls you a stalker just tell him a real stalker would never do such a mistake– it’ll leave him confused for a moment.” A brief pause. “Did it bother you, though? When he called you that?”
“Preach! I don’t know how people do it so quickly. It takes for months for me, I just can’t stop loving someone.” Mara said, her voice sounded quiet and filled with resentment. How could her exes drop her and move on quickly? She didn’t get it. “Like you know, you can’t make all the love you have go away, you need time.” Mara added, shaking her head slowly. “Don’t ask. It was an accident though, I didn’t mean to like it.” Mirroring the other woman’s smile, she nodded. “Oh, that’s a good idea. I bet that would scare him.” Well, after the way he talked to her, he deserved some scare, didn’t he? A sigh left her lips after Scarlett’s question, she shrugged her shoulders before speaking, “It did. But that wasn’t the worst thing he called me, so there’s that.”
