I need to make a comprehensive list of the incredibly bizarre ways Peter and Carl have been suggestive about each other, see: Carl implying they'd come all over the walls of the Albion Rooms, Peter on about inhaling Carl's breath and wanking off frogs, Carl screaming about Peter wanking to Attitude magazine (why is there so much wanking... oh, right) and now we all have an image of Peter nuzzling Carl's crotch in the dead of night. This may be naff as fuck but there's a lot of people on here that are new or returning fans or new to tumblr and I thought it would be nice to all get to know each other, if you'd like to be known! I'm Marta, I'm from Sydney Australia (she/her). I was introduced to the band by a friend in 2003 and it legit changed my life overnight. I joined Tumblr fandom around the reunion in 2015 when I was going through a tough time and needed to find a community, and it's been lovely finding fellow Libs fans to be mental with. x

I'm M (or whatever). I'm from PRC. As a gen Z the first time I knew about this band was in 2017 on some music app, and all their songs were great. When I saw the cover of the second album I heard the alarm in my head: things were far more complicated than I thought (thank you Mr. Sargent). I've been trying to get to know their story during that time, but it was probably survival instinct that stopped me from falling into heartbreak.

It wasn't until 2023 that I decided I just wanted to have fun. I opened up Tumblr, and then to this day. 2023 has seen me go through some major life changes, but I'm so happy to know each other's existence with people in this community. x

Let's talk about fashion

I am happy to see Carl and Pete wearing something different than suits.

The suits, which kinda became their signature style on stage (mostly for Pete ) are alright but I love the rock/rockabilly look and I would pick that for them without any doubts: It "suits" them and their music.

Carl and his go-to outfits: the rock star, black as the main color, black pants, leather boots, black coats, and hats ( he needs to update some pieces like the leather jacket). He looks badass and the clothes are well thought out.

Pete, go-to outfit is the vintage British gentleman, if not done right, it make him look older, especially since he is rocking the silver hair. He can keep that style but he need to update the suits with modern pieces to make it work in his favor. See the 2 suits in the photo : (far left) dark suit and the light old fashion suit, both suits but styled differently.

John and Gary, they always look 10/10. John has a simpler but modern look, still youthful, with denim or black pants and casual jackets he is the cool guy without trying hard and Gary is the most fashion-forward of them all. He definitely dares to wear special pieces and colors.
