Marathon Training? Day One?
Andrew and I are playing with the idea of training for a marathon. I created a training schedule, and we are pretty much exactly on schedule to train for the Rock 'n Roll San Diego Marathon, June 1st, 2014. I've done one before, but he never has.... For him, it would be something to do before med school begins in August; for me, it could be motivation to lose all that fabulous weight I've gained since living at home and one more #ThirtyBeforeThirty ...
So, we just ran our first 1.5 mile run; in under 20 minutes, and let's be honest. I almost died. (In my defense, I have been sick for the past two weeks, and it's 20 degrees outside.... but ...) excuses aside, I think it's a good idea. I'm terribly out of shape.
So.... let's go.
