My p e r f i c i o p e r f e c t i o n doesn’t exist and he’s sick to think it does
"It’s Bellamy’s job to get them to work, not mine. One of us needs to be liked around here." Part of her was teasing, but she knew the truth. "Beating people up isn’t going to get us anywhere." She gave her a look, telling her with just her eyes to behave. "I can’t hunt, but we can go look for more nuts and berries, if you want to come with me." She looked around camp, at the people there, some doing working, some doing nothing.
"Yeah, yeah," Mara dismissed easily with a shrug of her shoulders. "Nuts and berries, just what I wanted," she spoke sarcastically before looking back towards Clarke,"alright, I'll stop complaining before I become subjected to your death stare. Anything to get me out of this camp." She grabbed one of empty backpacks before heading towards the woods.
Clarke cursed out loud as she tried to move her hair to cover the marks that Bellamy had made along her neck. In the makeshift mirror she had made, she could see that the marks were dark, and she cursed again. Mainly at Bellamy. Sighing, she did the best she could to hide the outrageous hickeys and shook her head, knowing she would have to just deal with it if anyone saw her with them. Nodding once before exiting the tent, looking around her camp before walking up to one of her fellow delinquents. “How’s everything going?” She asked, examining the grounds. She wanted - No, she needed - something to do, to take her mind off of everything that had been happening
.
"You would think by now that I would have realized that some people are just plain old lazy," Mara spoke as she stepped up besides the blonde,"if only you'd let me kick their asses." She mused with a slightly smirk, looking over at Clarke. Mara noticed the hickeys but made no comment, wasn't any of her business. "We could probably use some more food, not sure how long the rations will last."
"Do you wanna stop hovering and piss off? I’m tryna’ sleep and all I can hear is you breathing, it’s kinda offputting."
"How about instead of taking a nap you actually get up and help around here, Noah?"
"Keep that up and you'll end up hurt, not impressing anyone."
