hi hi! could i please request something with Nemu and/or Jiro bringing home their girlfriends to their respective homes for the first time? thank you!
Of course! Thanks for the request!
NEMU
Before you even started dating Nemu Aohitsugi, you’d heard rumors about Samatoki, her older brother, being a fearsome Yakuza and all.
Until now- a good month into your relationship- you never bothered to pay such ridiculous gossip much mind.
You bring it up in a roundabout manner one afternoon, scared to ask her what her brother might feel towards your relationship with one another.
After Nemu soothes your fears by giving you a small gift (she bought it on her way to see you because something about it just reminded her of you), she decides that she wants to ease your worries once and for all by asking you over to her house for a movie date.
You’re able to catch the meaning behind this- she wants you to meet her brother for yourself and decide how you feel about him. You happily accept.
Nemu picks you up from your house and walks you to her place, hand in hand.
On the way to her house, Nemu again gently reassures you that although her brother might seem a little scary, that he’s a very sweet guy through and through.
As you’re helping Nemu open the door, you’re able to catch a glimpse of Mr. Hardcore himself, who seems far more tender than you imagined him to be.
Upon seeing you, however, his expression hardens a smidge. You smile stiffly and wave, Samatoki responding with a gruff sound and nod of acknowledgement. The two of you head to the couch.
Nemu grips your hand a little tighter for courage as she deliberates over what to tell Samatoki, as he probably just thinks you’re just another one of her friends.
After you both finish getting everything set up, Nemu’s (adorably) brave pout tells you that she’s made up her mind. She takes you over to where Samatoki is currently reclining, reading over something on his phone.
She squeezes your hand!
“Onii-chan, I have something important to tell you.”
He spares you a second long glance from where he sits before turning his full attention to Nemu.
“Hmnn?” His posture straightens. “‘Sup?”
Nemu takes a deep breath. “T… This is (Y/N). I really wanted you to meet her, since she’s someone really really important to me.”
“Important? Is she like- your best friend or somethin’?”
“Err… More than that…”
“So you’re her, uh… Ugh, how do girls say it— best friend… …forever? BFF?”
You could almost see the tension drain from her shoulders as she stifles a laugh.
“N- Not quitei. Samatoki, this is my… erm…”
“Girlfriend. I’m Nemu’s girlfriend.” You chime in, suddenly feeling the least bit brave. You and Nemu both hold your breath, unsure of what would happen next.
“Issat what they’re callin’ it nowadays? Nemu can hang out with whoever she likes. Just take good care of her.”
Nemu leans over to you, sneaking in a whisper as Samatoki’s attention returns entirely to his phone.
“I don’t think he understands…”
“We were pretty direct about it, though.” You noted, making your way back to the couch which had been equipped a moment with blankets, snacks, and all sorts of movies to marathon. “I guess we could try to tell him again some other time, buuut…”
You wrap an arm around her shoulder. She seems to like it, nuzzling closer to you, hiding her blush in the crook of your neck.
“For now, I wanna spend the rest of the night with my Nemnems!” You say as the two of you collapse onto the couch together, planting a chaste kiss on her forehead. “I love you!”
Samatoki watches from afar, curious but non-intrusive.
Ahh… It seems Nemu made a good friend, he thinks.
JIRO
You started off as Jiro’s tutor, being in his same year and class.
He always seemed to be nervous around you, especially when you two had first started your lessons together, but eventually warmed up to your presence.
It takes most of the year for him to realize that he likes you and for you, roughly just as long.
That very morning, the two of you ended up accidentally (semi) confessing to one another amidst the rain, stating that only couples would share an umbrella, while the two of you shared an umbrella on your way to class.
Of course, the two of you were blushing when it dawned on both your heads.
“W… We’re not a couple… Don’t- Don’t get the wrong idea, y’hear?!” Jiro mutters, unable to look anywhere in your general vicinity, fearing that you’d see the pink that so tinged his cheeks.
“…Would… Would you mind if we were? A- A couple, I mean.” You stop walking then, your heart drumming in your chest.
Jiro stops and swallows his sheepishness to spare you a moment. His voice is earnest, small, and barely a whisper, but just loud enough for you to clearly hear his reply.
“Nah, I- I wouldn’t mind or anything. …Actually, I… uh… I’d like that.” He stutters, happy but shy. The conversation dwindles there, your hands brushing his own as you both hold up the umbrella.
School passes quickly enough and without issue, until it begins to rain again just as the students are dismissed.
You look around for Jiro, relief overtaking you as you see him making his way over to you, umbrella in hand.
He intends to walk you home just as he’s done over the past few weeks and does so, only for your phone to ring halfway through your route.
The call was from one of your caretakers, informing you that they wouldn’t be home until later tonight. You tell Jiro and shrug, fishing your house key from your pocket.
“Actually- uh- (Y/N), do you want to hang out at my house until your parents come back later?” Jiro’s face instantly goes red, even though the suggestion was his own.
“…Err… W- Would your family be okay with that? I mean, I don’t mind, but I’ve still never been to your house before—”
“I… uh… They shouldn’t mind- I don’t think.” He replies in kind, taking your hand as he holds the umbrella above both your heads. “I don’t wanna make you go if you don’t want to-”
“No, no, you’re fine! You stammer out, tripping over your own words. “I’d love to.”
You walk to his house together, the rain continuing to pour.
Upon turning the doorknob, you’re able to spy two familiar figures who you can’t quite recognize. Upon a glance, you’re able to tell that they look extraordinarily similar to Jiro- you’re able to recall all of what he’s told you about his brothers. This must be them.
Jiro enters first, offering to take your bags for you before you head inside after him.
As soon as you’ve stepped through the doorframe, you can see (and hear) the younger of the his brothers (Saburo, as you remember) choke on the water he sips.
The eldest, who you recall as Ichiro, shouts a greeting to Jiro as he comes into view, stopping in his tracks as soon as he catches sight of the person Jiro’s brought home with him- yourself, of course.
Tentatively, once he’s recovered from his choking fit, Saburo speaks up. “Who’d you bring home with you, Jiro?” He speaks, trying hard to maintain his recently regained composure. “Is this your tutor?”
Jiro replies, nonplussed, honest, and entirely on instinct, mouth moving faster than the cogs in his brain.
“Oi, Saburo! Quit it! This is my girlfriend.”
“To be fair,” you shyly interject, “I was his tutor for most of the year.”
Saburo chokes on nothing this time, quickly fumbling for a line to say. “...Gi- Girlfriend...?! Jiro...?! With a- a...! She’s not being p... paid... right?”
You grow flustered. “P- paid-?! Hey, I oughta...!”
Jiro steps in front of you and fires back, initating a bicker brawl. “What, did your big brain shortcircuit? Or do I needa get you a dictionary?
“Girlfriend!” He enunciated the word, oozing confidence. “G-I-R-F-R-E-N-D!”
This was him. Your idiot boyfriend. You loved him dearly.
You hid your face behind your hands, pushed so close to the brink of laughter.
Ichiro, having heard the bulk of the conversation, makes his way over from the heart of the kitchen and stops just in front of Jiro.
His eyes seem to be shining with a proud, fatherly twinkle as he claps Jiro on the back. “A girlfriend! Jiro, man, you’re really growing up! I couldn’t be prouder of ya!”
Saburo seems to deflate at that. Ichiro returns his attention to you. “When did you two, y’know, start going out?”
“Erm...” you shoot a pleading look at your boyfriend, whose own eyes go wide in response. He sends you a stiff nod, mouth pressed into a hard line. “Just this morning.” You spoke, your voice small.
“This morning?!” The three brothers shouted in unison, Jiro himself shocked to hear it spoken aloud.
“Damn, well I’ll be! And you already brought her home!” Ichiro claps Jiro once more on the back, the poor boy’s face dusted bright red at the turn of events.
“W- well, that’s ‘cause... Her parents weren’t comin’ back ‘til late, y’know? (Y/N), help me out here!” Jiro eeks out, currently caught in the middle of one of Ichiro’s loving noogies.
Saburo laments where he sits, pouting at the sideshow unfolding.
“Congratulations, I guess.” Saburo sighs, letting a smile ebb at the corners of his lips.
Ichiro offers you a hug at your own discretion, a brilliant smile still splitting his cheeks all the same.
“You’ll always be welcome at the Yamada home!”
