Thinking about prowl being devastatingly lonely and not consciously realizing it and self isolating himself and refusing to open up because of it, like an infinite downward spiral, like how when youre too hungry the thought of food makes you feel ill.

Doing anything to cure his isolation only makes him feel worse so obviously the solution is more isolation and he doesn't even consciously register how miserable he is because this is just how he is this is just how life is and it isnt worth whining about theres work to be done why is this upsetting you im just being truthful in fine i dont understand i dont understand

I want him MISERABLE. I dont want him crying himself to sleep, because he thought it would be a waste of energy and he doesnt have a reason to deserve the expenditure and he doesnt really get why he would have that impulse to do so anyways. I want him to suffer even though he has other options because he doesnt even register that he does- him being happy just isnt part of his worldview at all even if he'll adjust his behaviours and calculations based on other peoples happiness. I like to think the origin story is that they played together at the collegiate level and optimus "betrayed" megatron by going to a different team than her

LISTEN. I thought of the waves as goalies and was terrified. they are both so so scary.

(fun offhand thought: soundwave being a part time volunteer coach for a kids hockey team called The Cassettes ;D )

starscream and skywarp are both fast and aggresive enough that they're perfect for forwards, but I feel like thundercracker works better in defense— they still might pull her up for shock and awe on special occasions (✨she's versatile✨)

I feel like prowl and jazz would both be really good as centers for different reasons— prowl is amazing at the strict logic number crunching, but jazz is the top pick when you need something fluid or unorthodox

Elita is still a lady to me, she is simply too powerful (it is really funny to imagine her as one of two men in the entire au)

but thinking also, Ratchet on the team's medical staff, always frustrated that the kids are getting hurt in all kinds of new and innovative ways. "what do you MEAN you pulled something while playing sewer ball?! no i dont CARE if she dared you to juggle the ball 100 times YOU IDIOT" first aid is the bench emt and is the one that comes over when someone goes down on the ice.

and what if prowl was a part of the coaching staff??? or maybe even more specifically, the special teams coach? i mean, no offense to prowl, but she's definitely more of a brains before brawn type person.
