Axie, my almost happy Axolotl.

Axie is a weird, sarcastic and sober-minded Axolotl. It makes a wide variety of tutorials that help you live life in a delicious and sensual way.

Axie was born in this universe to create awareness of its species which is almost extinct because of the humans that don't respect nature.

This time Axie teaches us how to eat Evil toasts. Very useful for sensual and evil beings, like us.

My Gubims sculpted in bronze are finally with me!!! They're three sizes; Gubim 4~ inches, Mini Gubim 1 1/2~ inches, and Mini mini Gubim 1~ inch. Falling Gubim has its own acrylic box which leaves it 4 1/2~ inches above the ground ((: They're really cute! I'm so happy with the final result!!

So, I’m building little (well, hand-size) wood toys. I’M SO EXCITED!!! I’ve spent so much time doing and redoing them! I thought it would be easier, but it takes time, thinking and practice. They’re going to be me, myself, and one of my characters and my favorite one, Alice. I’ll post a picture of the final ones. Still need to attach the arms and paint them. :) Love and Light, -M

La Santa Muerte. Una hermosa diosa corroída hasta sus huesos. La patrona de los seres de las tinieblas. De lo olvidados. De los excluidos. De los rechazados. De los no deseados. Y La reina de todas las criaturas que no tuvimos la fortuna de ser hijos del sol ni bendecidos con la calidez de su luz. Ella reina en la oscuridad, sentada en un enorme trono sanguíneo adornado por cráneos dorados con incrustaciones de joyas, los cuales alguna vez pertenecieron a hijos del sol que decidieron aprovecharse de su luz y su poder. Con su larga os ella protege a sus bestias, demonios, entes y quimeras de cualquier ser de mal corazón no perteneciente a sus tierras que decida cruzarlas. En su otra mano, ella carga una esfera terráquea, la cual le permite ubicuidad para rescatar a cualquiera de sus hijos en cualquier momento.

Little baby cherubs of darkness.

These cherubs are fetus that never knew the human world. They either were aborted, or they died inside their moms’ bellies.

They became beings of the shadows because of all the negative energy they received during their stay on earth (whether sorrow, sadness, hate, shame, reject, etc.).

Instead of growing normal wings, they grew corroded hands to fly. They keep their umbilical cord resembling their tragic death before even being “born” and to remember the only person they knew, and who carried them in their belly.

"Gubim, Mini Gubim and Mini mini Gubim. This are fairies from an ancient civilization. Gubims are beings of light and shadow. They have a close connection to human feelings, and like to help humans. Their mission in this world is to purify human hearts and souls, and to keep a natural balance between light and shadow. Gubims love nature and they get really angry or sad (depending on their personalities) when humans destroy their environment or harm any creature."

These are going to be made in bronze, those are just the models to get molds. One is still missing, gotta keep working!

Tonight I'm feeling a little nostalgic. I just watched a music video and it made me think about my family. I just moved a couple months ago all the way from México to California. It has been tough for me, but every day is less harder. Here is a picture of my REAL family and the souls that own every single corner of my heart. My grandma gave this picture to me last time I was in my beautiful México. It is my biggest treasure. Embrace all the time you can spend with those who you love the most. You never know if you will miss the opportunity to see them again. Infinite light and love, -M

I'm doing some stupid storyboarding for a stupid perspective class. I REALLY hate that class. It's just annoying!!! My assignments are the most stupid and boring things. And I'm not used to Copic markers; which we are supposed to use. Also, the teacher is... Not my favorite person in this world. He seems like he is always in a rush!!! He speaks SO fast! He is SO quick! He would also draw on top of ANYTHING; a projector, a table, his student's work... I really think he needs to be more careful, respectful, empathic and considered. He annoys and overwhelms my energy so much! He is a nice man and everything though. But I really hate that class... ): That class does not brings light to my life :< Light, -M

The Boy with no Friends (2014) WIP This piece of mine is really special for me. It is inspired on a experience I just had a couple days ago. Around a month ago I went to Mexico City for personal issues and during my stay, there was a special event taking place in downtown. The event is called “Feria de las Culturas Amigas” (“Friend Cultures’ Fair”) and in that fair, they fill up el Zócalo with a lot of stalls; one for each country. There I got a Keffiyeh (Palestinian scarf) which I used the other day. I live in California and I thought that people here would be more open minded and would accept more, but I was wrong. That day was kinda tough for me. People would just stare at me or some other would just turn their heads rudely when I would politely greet them. I got a lot of bad energy and low vibrations from a lot of people who didn’t even know me, and were judging me based on what I was wearing. I know what I’m talking about because I’m gay and I’ve felt that energy before. It was really sad for me, but I’m glad I did it. My main purpose of wearing it was to visually support those minorities and discriminated groups (even though I’m Mexican). Also I really got to feel what they feel and now I have more empathy towards them. Anyway… that led me to create this beautiful and meaningful piece. Will post the final as soon as I finish it.
