A couple of weeks ago an advertising agency contacted me with the question: “Do you know how to draw portraits?”. I replied, “No clue, its been ages - but I’d be happy to give it a go”. Long story short they liked the tests I did, but unfortunately the project got cancelled due to COVID-19. As France got locked down completely, I saw a chance to develop my drawing/painting skills, since I was in quarantine and my photography was on a bit of a hold. I feel a bit odd/self-conscious about sharing these (uploading a few over the next days), as its something so new to me, but considering how much fun I had working on the tests and that I think transparency is a good thing - here we go. Anyways, this is a portrait of an old friend of mine (@marwanepallas ), drawn/painted in graphite, watercolour and gouache. How are you spending your quarantine? Exploring new crafts? Take care and stay inside :-) (at Paris, France) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-NcCxnlOpS/?igshid=i6bka475cw9c
