She just nodded at his comment, after all it was still pretty true for her too. “Especially their mac and cheese. It is to die for and I have not craved something this bad since I discovered the birthday cake cream cheese and rainbow bagels during that whole Brooklyn craze.”
Marcus smiled, grabbing a menu and glancing at it even though he knew what he was having. “Oh, yeah. That is the best. And those bagels were disgusting, by the way. Way too sweet to be bagels, they were practically donuts but more sad.” He teased.

“I’m a little new… I was on back in 2012, but then took a little time off. But now I’ve been back on for a year! I’m currently Glinda in Wicked. And oh gosh, you’re Marcus Robertson! Big fan. You make a wonderful Marius.”
“Very true. They are to very good things.”
“Oh, that’s cool. Well then welcome back. Glinda in Wicked? How did I not guess that. That’s an amazing show, so much fun. I remember my days in Oz very fondly, I’m hoping to return one day before I’m too old to play the heartthrob.” He chuckled. “Why thank you, I really appreciate that. I do love playing him as well.”

“You know, it’s been ages since I’ve stepped foot in here.” She stated as she surveyed the diner. Her reasoning behind avoiding it had been him but now they were moving forward and she missed its quaint charm. “But I’m starving so now is better than ever, right?”
Marcus smiled, nodding. “Yeah, same here. The last time I came here was with you while we were still together.” He said softly, finding them a table towards the window. “Definitely. I could use some of their comfort food.” He mused happily, sitting down in the booth across from her.
“This city is truly magical. The lights and everything… Christmas Cheer is going to begin to consume me, I swear!”
“But that means good things. I bake a lot more in the Christmas season. Stop by my dressing room for a never-ending supply of sweat treats!”
“Baking and Christmas? What could get better than that. I take it that you’re new on Broadway...? What show are you working? Your name rings a bell to me.”
Sometimes you just accidentally make six litres of makkara stroganoff. At least I know what I’ll be eating the rest of November… and half of December.
I have no idea what that is but it sounds delicious. Have enough to share?
“Some lady on the subway came up to me and asked if I was the guy from The Voice and if she could take a selfie with me. At like six in the morning. What would have been worse? Pretending I was and letting her do it and shit? Or throwing my head back, groaning, and asking God to just take me already. Because one of those is what happened.”

I know I said that I might not come back to Broadway but I am happy to say that I have been offered a role that I am really passionate about. I am excited to bring Evan Hansen to life in Dear Evan Hansen. I can’t believe I actually considered leaving.

Marcus laughed, “Of course. Who doesn’t want to not be able to fit in their costumes due to bloating?” He laughed, his brows furrowing as he narrowed his eyes at her. “That was embarrassing.” He teased.
“I’m allowed to make fun of myself but you are not allowed to agree with me, jerk.” Delaney halfheartedly hit Marcus’ chest, laughing.
Marcus rolled his eyes, chuckling. “Oh, fine, fine.” He smirked before hearing the doorbell to his apartment rang. “Finally!” He laughed, walking over to the door and paying for their food before taking it into the kitchen and placing it down. “Dig in.” He smiled, passing her a plate from the cabinet.
