ROOM TO BELIEVE: EPISODE ONE

Summer, 1999. Demoralized by a pre-college film program gone awry, Aaron is surprised by the sudden appearance of his ex, Katie. Earlier, Aaron arrives in Cape Hope and meets the first of his roommates, who show off their partially-constructed space station set. Later, Aaron sits down with his professors to reflect on a seemingly disastrous summer.

Also porgs are the fucking best they were an incredibly smart and fun way to cammouflage the puffins in the set without having to get them out of their habitat and give some life and character to the island, they provided adorable and much needed comic relief, didn’t interfere with the story or bit emotional scenes and being mad about them because “they were there to sell toys/are for children” is a stupid thing

Star Wars has always tried to integrate things that children can enjoy too and I’m very glad they do and the porgs and BB8 being adorable were something I adored and I hope they made kids in the audience happy as well and I will fucking fight you
