Bart has been hanging out with a young man with orange hair and a red jacket recently. The man kept walking into walls. He said, "but in the future, there are no walls." Bart has not paid this any mind. I think a concussion check is in order

Soon, Bart will have friends who have spiny complexions resembling cacti, and they will maintain their roots firmly in the ground no matter who tries to remove them.

Okay. I went outside and who did I see? Ned Flanders, as usual. This time, he was trimming his bushes.

He waved at me. "Howdy ho, neighbor!"

This is true. I am literally his neighbor. I did not stop for small talk - I simply waved back and smiled, while trying to shove the fake version of the house inside the car. Homer kept entering the fake version of the house instead of the real one after he came back from Moe's bar, but also when he hadn't been freshly drinking. But yes, it happened more after he drank. The house was meant for the kids to play in. Lisa nailed a wooden "do not enter" sign on the front of the door. That didn't stop Homer. I walked into the bedroom that night ready to get some shut-eye and he had his arms wrapped around the "do not enter" sign, snoring away. It was time for another plan. Next, Bart stood in front of the fake house, and when Homer approached, he held out his palm and said, "No, dad." Bless him, he could have actually spent that time playing in the house with his sister or Milhouse, but no, he spent a good amount of that hour waiting for his dad to approach the fake door. Unfortunately, Bart didn't quite say, "No, dad," and something more like, "This isn't the actual door, you fat bozo." It made Homer incensed. Bart ran away. Then a very calm Homer walked over and opened the door.

Ned Flanders didn't seem to care that I gave a minimal response and continued to trim his hedge, bopping his head as he hummed a tune. He then began to sing, "The Lord will step on our faces," still quietly but loudly enough for me to be able to make out the words within earshot. He said it so many times that there was no room for uncertainty. I awaited the sermon that would follow this Sunday. Half of the fake house was in the car.

I heard the faint hum of a vehicle nearby and I saw, from the corner of my eye, Homer's magenta car. I heard his voice, and suddenly I realized.

"Homey! No!" I shouted, as Homer turned the doorknob on the part of the fake house that had yet to be squeezed into the car and climbed right in.
