So several things have happened since arriving here, number one, I’ve hit myself on the headboard twice since sleeping. Like I’m tall so that’s not the worst of what could have happened? Number two, I finished my new project, well writing it at least, so that’s good. This scenery helped, and yes I’m the kind of woman who brings her laptop on vacations. Don’t judge. Or do. That’s fine, and number three, I have swam every morning since arrival, but it was early in the morning so it was more like a jolt of energy before the rest of my day, how has everyone been enjoying their time here? And would anyone like a weird ginge to join them on their adventures.
@townofbayview
I’m sorry you managed to hit your head twice, but yay for finishing your project though. This view could definitely inspire a lot of things honestly. No judging here. I live a judge free lifestyle honestly. That’s awesome. I am definitely enjoying everything right now, so I really can’t complain. Hey you can join me on my adventures as long as you don’t mind a weird blonde hanging out with you.
gustygrants:
I will be perfectly honest, I am a sucker for a good view. The resort has a nice view of the castle. A freaking castle–now that’s pretty awesome. How has everyone been enjoying the area so far? Also the food here. Slovenian food is actually really refreshing. Not only is it different, it’s all fresh and simple. I don’t know if I can choose a favorite just yet. But that’s what food tours are for, right?
I feel like I am one step closer to living out my dreams of being a princess who lives in a castle. I’m almost within reach of my castle. No it has been amazing so far and I am glad that I decided to come along on the trip. The food has been amazing and I know I am so going to be missing it once we have to head back. Wonder if I can smuggle some home. Have to love food tours.
hemswurth:
That’s why you need someone else to wake you from a slumber. Alarm clocks aren’t meant to be trusted. Saving me? I think you’re keeping us apart from the sounds of it. It’ll give me a chance to ask him to convince my kids that Thor is the greatest. We can exchange stories and I can answer all of his questions. Only if it comes with the home-cooked meal, though.
Alarm clocks truly don’t work well and that is why I have two kids who love to jump on my bed startling me out of my sleep. Oh no! How dare I keep you two apart. Well I am all for you all meeting then if it will help you convince your kids that Thor is the greatest because my son will definitely help in that department. He will probably have them convinced. Well I will give you an awesome home-cooked meal for you exchanging stories and answer his million questions that I am sure he will throw at you.

While everyone is over in Europe we are going on our road trip this week, we actually leave tomorrow cause I had to catch up on laundry after spending the fourth with everyone.
We are starting a few days in Michigan before we go to Chicago and maybe into Wisconsin. I have not decided yet. Have fun on the trip though, they are usually really fun.
Well I do hope that you all have fun on your road trip. I know that it will be something awesome getting to see some truly amazing sites. So many amazing things to see in each of those places. Hope you all have fun and stay safe of course. Thank you. I am definitely intrigued to see how it all goes.
zccharylevi:
I haven’t always felt that way but you’re right. Once you get over some issues that go along with a messy family, you end up seeing the bright side of things and you kinda feel like you’ve grown up. Ugh, that’s right, although it’s a bummer. Absolutely! This part of the reason why I love it so much.
You have to grow or you will be stuck in a rut that you can never get out of. We can’t let the bad break us and make us stop enjoying all the finer things in life. At least that’s how I look at life. Just have to push forward and not allow the crappy things get us down. It does make choosing to move here a great idea at the end of the day.
tordev:
I think that there is nothing wrong with a little lie to get you by here and there but if it becomes habit it starts to be all consuming. I definitely wouldn’t want that. We are all our own people so there is no other way we can do things than our way. I think that free choice is a good thing. Sometimes, we just tend to cave to what other people ask and we usually regret it. I have no problem speaking up for myself when I need to. I think everyone should feel empowered to do that. You’re right there. I haven’t completely decided what my future looks like but I am content with my present and taking it day by day. I’m glad for that much myself. I can’t speak for everyone else but I’ve become more okay with what I have that the older I get.
Everyone lie ever once in a while, but doing all the time isn’t right. You lose focus on true facts and start truly living in a make believe world. I completely agree with you on that one. No one is perfect and I know that sometimes it’s easier to cave to people then to keep fighting them on what you feel is right. That’s good. I’m glad you have no problem speaking up for yourself. Still have time to figure out what you want to do as far as in your future. Just have to take it one day at a time. As long as you are okay then that’s what matters most.
apopple:
It’s all very fluid. Sometimes you get your mind made up about a path you want to take and things do work out. When it doesn’t, you don’t any choice but to rise to the occasion. If they’re not happy to have me around, it wouldn’t make sense for them to keep coming around me. I try and stay positive generally but I also have a good husband who keeps me grounded and realistic. Without him I’d probably be much of stuck in idealism. You have to handle your stuff though or it just gets weird. For now, the biggest problem is what to paint on their banner to welcome their grandparents into town to care for them while we’re away.
It’s always great when things work out especially the way you really wanted them to work out. It’s truly all you can do when things don’t go your way. Dwelling on things never end well honestly and it’s just a waste of time. I agree. Why keep being around someone you don’t like, it just makes for a bad day for yourself. Well that’s great that he can do that for you. Sometimes we need that one person in our lives who can keep us grounded. So very true. Awe I am sure the grandparents enjoyed getting that banner from them.
dvidtennant:
Me neither, actually. Speak about these things named memes or things that come from any social media and I’m totally obsolete on the matter. I knew you wouldn’t, they were good, you should totally listen to them. There’s a high percentage you’ll get jealous. I’d recommend you watch in on YouTube since people like to mock me about it, but if you’re that bad with the internet then don’t try.
Well I am glad that I’m not alone when it comes to things like that. I will have to give them a listen since you are recommending them to me. I think I may be able to get on YouTube and watch it. I am sure it will be worth watching and seeing what I can find on the internet.
roerigz:
Yeah, absolutely! Although… if it makes you feel any better, I have no idea, either, I’m pretty clueless. I once lost my Twitter password for like, two years straight and was too lazy to even figure out what it was. Yeah, I completely get that, it’s something that you love with or without the kids, having the kids just probably adds a whole different level of magic to the holiday, it always does. Although I get you on the kid friendly, I feel like that means we add a lot of Rudolph and Frosty to the mix, not that there’s anything wrong with those! They’d come to the tree lot and find you stuck to the top of some tree, unsure how you’re supposed to get down. Which, sure, is gonna end up being a funny story to tell, but maybe not as funny when it’s happening! Maybe both, the story will start out with, “mom always drove us crazy,” and then finish with, “but holidays were the best,” and that way people know that it was all worth it. God, yeah, I’m not super looking forward to Halloween, but at the same time, it’s their holiday, I’ll let them do whatever they want and wear whatever they think is cool come the end of October! Although don’t be surprised if I offer to trade you kids when the time comes. I’d like to say that those people who made up half that stuff were drunk at the time…? But I feel like that’s the catch, they were probably completely sober and just a little bit crazy. And by a little bit, I mean a lot. Then you’re gonna have like… a huge fish tank that you’re constantly replacing stock in, but at least the goldfish are normally pretty cheap, right? I’m glad you decided to go! I’m heading along, too, I’m with you, it’s an opportunity to see something new, so why not? The lake looks gorgeous from the pictures I’ve seen, not to mention some of the historic cities nearby.
I don’t truly understand the appeal of social media. I guess if I was maybe younger and part of this generation of always being on the internet it would make more sense. It’s crazy some of the things people post though. So very true. We just have to enjoy it all while we can especially while the kids are young and still want to be involved with celebrating the holidays with us. We really do have to add those more and keep it to things we know they will love. Although with my kids getting a little older it’s been nice being able to go a little more outside of the box. That is what would probably end up happening and people will just be staring at me like I was craziest person in the world. Which I am sure people do anyways. Hey if I can get the stories to have those in them then clearly I am doing something right. I am sure that it won’t be too bad. Maybe they will surprise you and have something already planned out for the holiday. It’s fun to see kids get so excited for the holidays though. We can combine kids. Maybe my kids will help out yours and they will come up with an epic idea. That is so tough. Like being drunk would make more sense, but if you were sober and just rambled like a crazy person then yes that would make life more intriguing yet confusing. They are pretty cheap, so I guess that is a plus. Also just not having any fish is even cheaper for me as well. Yeah I figured I might as well enjoy somewhere new and just have a little fun. The sights have been beautiful so far and I am glad that I decided to tag along on the trip. A great decision on my part.

I appreciate hearing that. And thank you for the compliment on the accent. I hear so many accents as an actor, and I use so many different ones for the same reason that I have gained great respect for the idiosyncrasies of them all. You’ll certainly hear no argument from me on that front. Being flirty keeps life interesting because it keeps people guessing what you will say or do next. Hello Christina. Its a pleasure to meet you.
You are welcome. I can only imagine that you would have to deal with that being as you are around a lot of people for different roles and stuff. It’s just pretty cool to hear all the different ones since I’m not around them that much. Nothing wrong with being flirty. It’s part of who you are and you should be proud of that side of you.
skarsgardb:
Maybe you’re right, though part of me is still sad about it. Perhaps I’ll give it another try this weekend and if the same thing happens again, chalk it up to pizza just not being something I should make. The jet lag is a little better though, so I have that in my favor? I can’t complain about the Chinese food either. It’s delicious and I’ve got enough leftovers for dinner tonight, so that’s a win. It’s nice to meet you too, Christina! Are you? Will you share one of those stories to make me feel a little better?
Well I am sure one day you will perfect the art of making a pizza from scratch. All we can do is keep trying and hope for the best when it comes to things we want to accomplish. Yes I am. I once walked into a vase and the glass from the vase breaking cut my arm and I had to get stitches.
aidan-hqs:
We irish get a bad name for most people and despite the belief that we are rude or standoffish, I can assure you that we are actually incredibly friendly and perhaps just a bit flirty. Just don’t hold that last one against us, or perhaps not against me. Hello, I’m Aidan….probably should have started with that.
@bviewstarter
I was going to say I didn’t think that about Irish people. All the Irish people I have met in my lifetime have been pretty awesome. I enjoy getting to know them and the accent is pretty epic. Nothing wrong with being very friendly and flirty though. That’s what makes people pretty awesome. It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Christina.
zccharylevi:
It is, especially when you come from a family that is a little messy – which is my case. That’s true – I guess we can’t stop people from staying in the negative side of things, right? I have no doubt about that, given that every event in and out of the town are cool and fun.
Sometimes having a messy family can make you appreciate things just a little more At least that’s how I looked at all the awful things that happened. Nope. It’s just something people will do because they have nothing better to do honestly. That is one good thing about this town, they always have some fun things going on.
dvidtennant:
I didn’t really come up with it out of nowhere. I’ll tell you the secret, although it’s on the internet, it’s the Pet Shop Boys frontman, Neil Tennant. ‘Reckon not many people know him because I don’t recall hearing anyone saying they’ve known of someone else with that last name. Well, wait until you hear me say ‘Judoon plantoon upon the moon’, that’s something they made me say in Doctor Who, and it’s very different for me as a Scottish to transform it to English accent.
Ahhh okay. The internet and I don’t get along very well. Technology isn’t my strong suit at all. Well I can definitely say that I have no idea who that is, so I fall into that category clearly. Well I can’t wait to hear you say it. I’m very intrigued to hear this whole thing go down.
nckjcnas:
Anytime! I try my best to make your life easier, Christina. I do like going to buffets just for that reason. It’s interesting to see people grab different things. It does benefit him whenever the contestants have to pick their judge. The experience really helps him, not to mention how many seasons he’s won because of it. I’ve always enjoyed keeping in contact with people that I’ve worked with. I like hearing how well they’re doing. That’s how I view things, too. You have to experience something new. We only have this life, and why not make the most out of it? That’s alright. It was a good time, yeah. I just really enjoy dressing up so I had a blast. Are you going on the trip with the rest of us?
This is why you are just so awesome. It’s always interesting going to a buffet especially when you go with different people. I’m definitely that one who will eat my fill and it’s probably too much food I eat, but I can’t help it. I love food. It really does help him a lot and he really is a great coach. He has that gift that not many have. That’s great that you do that. I am sure they appreciate that you check in on them. I agree with you there. You do have to experience new things in your life and just enjoy the life you have been given. Don’t know what tomorrow has in store for you. I’m glad you had fun and I am sure you were one sharp dressed man. Well I’ve been debating with myself on if I should go or not and I think I have decided to give it a go.
apopple:
I think that you have a plan and you hope for the best and as things change you sort of figure things out. That’s all you can do. I think that it’s not always perfect but you do the best you can. Thank you for that. I would hope so. I’m definitely honoured that they’ve welcomed me into theirs. I think that we all face disappointments but you have to be an adult about it. No one wants someone to be that person who acts entitled to only have good things. We all have to have our fair share of bad. It’s not a matter of wishing it on anyone just a reality. I am sure they’ll sort all of that our when they need to. For now, I’m going to make that decision with their dad and I think we’ve made a decent enough one.
Life really isn’t set in stone and you do have to make adjustments when things don’t go the way they are meant to go. We just have to do what we can to make things go as smoothly as possible. You’re welcome. I am sure that they are honored that you welcomed them into your life as well. We do face some disappointments, it’s a part of life honestly, but we just have to keep going forward. Those people really are just..words can’t really describe those kinds of people honestly. We really do have to have a little bad in our lives. Just face those challenges because they make us better people afterwards. As long as we handle the situations. Of course not. I am sure they will. When they get older they will figure things out for themselves, but for now they are lucky to have you both in their lives.
