BLCD Review: Yoidore Koi wo Sezu

What more do I have to say?
This was perfect in all honesty. Ever since I saw the cast, I knew that it’ll go off without a hitch. These two were born to play these roles, so good on Shinshokan for recognizing that and maximizing on it. What am I saying? I know how much they love Saitou Souma and Maeno bc of their prior work with them. 😂 I’m so excited for Saitou Souma in Love Nest! Also, I don’t think Shinshokan has messed up in the VA department yet. All them other companies better take some notes.
They spared no expense on this BLCD because not only did they get some more dialogues in, everyone you see in the manga that has a dialogue was voiced! And they all delivered! I really loved Marie and comp. And ooh! I can’t believe they got Lounsbery Arthur to voice Yuzuru! Just as I was going: “yo, this guy’s got a good voice”, I find out that it was Arthur! Damnnnn. OH AND KIYO-SAN, MY PRECIOUS BEAN, PROTECT HIM AT ALL COST!
Back to our main VAs, GOD! Saitou Souma is a chameleon, I tell you! There are some parts where I could almost hear Mafuyu, Yamamoto, and Theo, but they were so brief. More importantly, OH MY GOD?!?!?!?! HE’S SUCH A QUEEN!!! I know it’s weird to say this, but when he sucked Sei-san off in Chapter 3 page 135-139, it really sounded like he was giving a blow job in real life???!!!! WHAT KIND OF WORKSHOPS HAVE YOU BEEN GOING TO, SAITOU SOUMA?! I WANNA KNOW AND I WANNA JOIN!!! Also, let Eguchi on your secrets. I know you two are close. The level of believably he has is just out of this world, I tell you. He also did a comedic role back in XL Saizu, but while XL Saizu’s comedy was more unintended (since the characters are oblivious to it), the comedy here was more meant, so there really is a considerable difference. But that was nothing to Saitou Souma because he did Misumi’s changes in tone effortlessly! He could be screaming one second and then making you scream the next—all that without a hint of his Yamamoto, too! If anything, he sounded more like Honda-san most of the time. 😂 What a talented, talented man. I was right when I said that he was 2019′s Queen of Queens. 😌 #BLESS I really gotta thank Saitou Souma for all that he’s taught me because I got to apply them in real life. 😂 I can only dream to be this level of sluttery.
Moving on to Maeno Tomoaki—boy used his Kudo voice I died. Sei-san was already super attractive in the manga, but Maeno Tomoaki made him sex on legs!!! Although it wasn’t Yasumoto Hiroki level feels, Maeno sent me squealing into my bed, too! Mama, I want to be spoiled by this handsome man, too. 😭😭😭 I missed him so much. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to him in a BLCD (Escape Journey’s looks like it’s escaping to nowhere). AND OH MY GOD, OKITSU’S COMING IN NEXT!!! Lord, I want them to have at least one more pairing before I die. I feel like Shinshokan was just looking for an excuse to pair these two up because I don’t think they have yet. 😂 But despite that, their chemistry was off the charts! When I say I want shteamy mattress mambos, this is what I meant! 🔥🔥🔥
But I’m not gonna lie, though I was hyped up about this ever since it was announced, that dissipated with time (this is true with Kanawanu, too). I think I’d still feel the same even if I listened to this earlier. Idk. For me, the BLCD and the manga just dragged on a little bit too long for my liking considering that it wasn’t even that dramatic (the BLCD has two disks btw). But I guess this is all down to personal preference.
There were a considerable amount of added dialogues, though, so that is my only concern. I mean, I’m not saying that beginners couldn’t catch up, but I think it’ll be harder for them to. But do still listen to this if you’re a fan of the series because there’s great pacing, plot execution, and bomb-ass voice acting!!!
