The Shetland Textile Museum Loves Lace Too So They Asked Anne Eunson To Recreate Her Famous Knitted Garden Fence and It Looks Gorgeous: 👉 https://buff.ly/3eU31xc
A reminder for some near future when I have my piece of land and a house to get creative with the fence as well 🤗☺️

Knits and treats, treats and knits
thank you, my beloved 😍😘😘😘
Done
(and it's really been a while 😃 they've been keeping me warm for the past couple of months)
first thing in the morning)))
that's how much is left here (well, and weaving the ends, of course...26 of them😬)
I've spent all fall/winter seasons of past five years or so with no gloves, mittens or anything like that☺️☺️☺️ (just figured out it's pretty warm to keep hands in pockets 😬) and 2022 is the year when I came to realize it's better to have your hands protected (even if I continue keeping them in my pockets, still...and they have a double protection in this case, lol😁😁)
So here I am))) just 4 fingers to go. And while gloves are quite a short project in general, these gave me a few disheartening moments leading to a month's long withdrawal from knitting! 🤦🏽♀️ And this is exactly the way they've been waiting for me (yes, I just messed up with stitches counting and dividing their number and how many goes to this and that finger...and I just didn't feel like frogging [with the high chances of being left with two ends for each finger tip I've already knitted] and it was hard for me to accept their imperfection in this sense 🤣🤣 [although that finally went pretty smooth] but more than that I just couldn't make myself to dividing the stitches left for the fingers still to be knitted (because it was just all unequal, and odd number here and there and each time I found guts to sit to counting I just messed up, getting a different amount of stitches each time 😬😁😁😁).
I'm happy I'm over it)))
The yarn used is the remnants of the sock yarn I made a pair of socks from [in case you were wondering/in case someone managed to read to this moment and is wondering 😁😁😁]

Google Photos asked me today if I remember this moment. Well, thanks for reminding me, as, indeed, I completely forgot about it! 😁😁 (well, I believe I took this one in 2017))
a super quick photo before I give these to my dear friend 🍏
Fun fact: the word вязать in Russian is used for both knitting and crocheting. You won’t know which is meant unless there’s a clear indication which tool is used.
Вязать крючком - crochet with a hook
Вязать спицами - knit with needles
I told you 😉😁😁😁😁
On my plate today 😊🤗
'You have to catscape your crocheting for some time, I can [probably, if I don't fall asleep too soon] do it fur you!', he says 😁😁😁
