I honestly think that crying over a book is one of the most prominent sign of compassion for humanity. You’re crying over someone who isn’t really there, doesn’t really exist, but you still feel for them as if you have known them your entire life.

my friend: [needs comfort]
me: oh Dang what are the Comfort Words
me: *flipping through the manual* there there?
my friend: *cries harder*
me: oh No they were the wrong Comfort Words
Here you go, all the Comfort Words
[image description: graphic of a crying cloud that fills an ocean with waves, on which a little boat is sailing. In the sky next to the cloud: “10 Things to Say instead of Stop Crying”. The following sentences are all written in one of the waves: 1. It’s ok to be sad 2. This is really hard for you 3. I’m here with you 4. Tell me about it 5. I hear you 6. That was really scary, sad, etc. 7. I will help you work it out 8. I’m listening 9. I hear that you need space. I want to be here for you. I’ll stay close so you can find me when you’re ready. 10. It doesn’t feel fair Under that: happinessishereblog.com and “The Gottman Institute”. end image description.]
people who show you new music are important
The fact that I’m legally an adult is hysterical
cant wait until i get cuddled to sleep every night by the love of my life
Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled. There is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings. Those who are at times described as being a ‘hot mess’ or having ‘too many issues’ are the very fabric of what keeps the dream alive for a more caring, humane world. Never be ashamed to let your tears shine a light in this world.

how can ppl say cats dont have feelings like.
when my cat got deadly sick she refused to eat a single thing and it had been days but when i started crying she ate just a little bit, and upon seeing how happy it made me, kept doing it whenever she could.
now whenever im sad or crying she finds wherever i am with a mouthful of food and eats the pieces one by one, every time looking up at me making sure i was watching her eat it all because she knew it made me happy. and it DOES make me happy
i love cats!!!
im so glad my little Foofy has touched everyone’s hearts… she luvs you all
