“Yeah. As much as I love it here, it is nice to see family once in a while” she laughed. “You are my lifesaver Marie. Seriously, I can’t thank you enough” she smiled. “You poor thing! Well is it alright now? If you need anything, I’m more than willing to lend a hand.”

“I understand. I mean I have my brothers here but it’s nice to go back to New York sometimes.” Marie nodded. “Oh it’s really no problem Em I love to help out my friends.” A sigh escaped her lips. “I mean I fixed it but it just set me back I had to hole away from the world to just catch myself up.” She shook her head. “Oh you’re too sweet. But I think I am finally back to where I was supposed to be... However.” She raised an eyebrow. “Would you mind looking at some stuff I made and telling me if you would ever wear it?”

Ugh right? They’ll just never understand. [He appeared with his arm around her shoulders]

And that is why you don’t let the amateurs work on anything until they’ve at least watched you do a big project.

I should have known that I just saw so much potential in her, but she just made a trainwreck.

Funny because I thought you were couture, but as I can see you are just a mess.

It was so great to be back home, even though I spent almost all the time in my room. [She giggled.] I’m fine, but if you’re willing, I need you to very carefullycarry some transcripts if you could. I’ve been rushing around getting back to normal

That’s so good. ‘m so glad you enjoyed it. [she nods a smile spreading along her face] Oh I can most definitely help you with that. [marie laughs] I completely understand. I have been doing the same since I let my assistant work on stuff when we were in New York and he messed up my whole design.

“Okay, but did you fix it like ‘me setting those curtains on fire’ fixing? Or like–Okay, no, stupid question, please continue.”

I uhm- no love I just fixed her dress. [giggles] I can show you.

I wouldn’t know either if I didn’t spend so much time with Ness.

It just baffles me sometimes I suppose.

I mean I wouldn’t necessarily say that but some people just don’t like their fashion as much.

“Your face is like… Your face is.. Oh god. I can’t think of anything” She sighed. “I’ve been writing so much recently, and as soon as get back here… Nothing!”

Maybe you’re just too happy to see all of Us because we missed you!

She thought it was “couture” but clearly she didn’t even know what that word means. It was a mess… But I fixed it

Marie shrugged, not people just their clothes or well parts of their clothes that inspire me. So if I see a jacket or a pattern or something that I like I sketch it or if I see something and it inspires me to something else I have an idea for I sketch it really quick so that I always have my designs with me.“

“You’re studying fashion I take it?” He asked, pretty sure of his guess what with the girl speaking of such things.

"Yeah I do." She smiled. "Wha do you study?" She asked curiously.

Raphi tapped softly on Marie’s door with her elbow, her hands too full of cocoa mix and caramel sauce to create any noise. She took a deep breath as the girl let her in, “Hi. I brought caramel too, it’s god in cocoa.”

Marie opened the door drying her hair having put on a big warm sweater. "Hi!" Marie's smile perked up. "Oh gosh I hadn't even thought of that what a good idea!" She let the girl in closing the door behind her.

Marie: You my dear are a life saver.

Marie: I just got drenched on the way to my dorm.

Marie: I'm not made for this.

Marie: I need cocoa.

Marie laughed. “So Sulley what you’re saying is you actually really did love New York.”

Sulley rolled his eyes and chuckled, “Yes, Marie, I really did love New York….but California will always be home, for me at least.”

She raised her hands "Hey I'm not asking you to move there. Pretty sure Arista loves the beaches here more than anyone else. Just making you admit you like them." She giggled giving him a look.

Marie smirked “well of course it is.” She shook her head . “But thank you I try really hard to make clean lines and all that so it means a lot.”

Alec merely hummed, too busy taking in the drawing to really think of much to say. Well, that was until, “So do you go around randomly drawing people often?”
