I wanna start this off w/ something I heard in my childhood. It’s always stuck w/ me and it’s so true. And it’s that “ being famous doesn’t stop the doubts and fears”. I think that pretty much sums up what happened w/ the tragic death of former miss USA 2k19 cheslie kryst. Depression these days whether ppl want to admit it or not is very very very real. You never ever ever know what ppl are going through. Just becuz you see ppl have things going for them does not mean that there are other things going on. Or just becuz they have an appearance that’s appealing and/or attractive doesn’t mean there aren’t other issues at play. Too many ppl get “ dismissed”. “ how could this be?” “ we need more information” too many ppl get caught up in the highlights. Ppl think that they “know” ppl but they don’t. We have to talk about severe depression more. Stress. Pressure. Anxiety. Things that happen to everybody and we all work through it. But we also have to talk about things like severe chemical depression. We need to stop brushing it under the rug and act like it’s some kind of “ rare occurrence”.
