I like that trope where the mc is this super demanding, high-maintenance partner and maybe someone makes a comment or they just realize something—or even a ‘message from the future’ or ‘realized they were in a story’ type of shit, doesn’t matter—and they find themselves trying to suppress all those bratty personality traits in order to either make it so their partner(s) doesn’t despise them and ruin their life OR so they can easily step aside and make it easier for their partner to go towards their ‘destined love’.

And their partner’s reaction to them no longer nagging and being super demanding of them is just: “Are you cheating on me?” Or “Okay, so where’s the other bitch at.” Because if the mc isn’t nagging them, then who are they nagging?
