I was just going to delete this because it's anonymous anyway, but like. You do realize that not everyone is going to agree with something just because most people do? Also I'm not online in the fandom often, I enjoy the show and sometimes post about it. I'm glad that people mostly agree on his label, and that's why I put probably controversial opinion in there. Also, he is like. A fictional character at the end of the day, I can make him do whatever I want in my head.

All in all I know that demisexuality is on the asexual spectrum, but it is separate as a label otherwise it would be called asexual. I wasn't tearing down anything, I was simply stating an opinion, and I hope you have a better day 👍🏻

I just really love to headcanon Luffy as demisexual. Luffy who knows about sex never has given a shit about it. But romatic love is even more of a mystery to him. Because Luffy has so much love to give. He loves his friends and he loves his brothers. But its never felt different than the usual your mine and help fill the void of not being alone type of friend love. How can there be a love different than that which to him is the best kind. Than boom one day he meets Law again(who is connected to the most tragic thing in his life ever. But also saved him) and its different. Its more. And Luffy is so unsure (afriad) about it. He has never felt feelings like this before. But he doesn't say anything about it till he figures it out. Once he does oh Law watch out. He so going to hold your hand.

Honestly I agree. I don't think I've ever headcanon'd a label on Luffy, just that he has such a childlike view of the world, innocence wise, somehow, that he doesn't notice it. Demisexual is one I could get behind though. (Controversial opinion maybe, but I don't see him being ace)

BUT, I digress. Luffy I definitely could see being so just unaware of romantic love because in his mind all love is the same, just a warm feeling of camaraderie before he meets Law, then he's lost. Law has suddenly made love feel different in his chest, and he isn't scared necessarily, but he doesn't know how to explain it, doesn't know what to do with it. He feels differently about Law, and he can't tell if that's good or bad, because he would die for his brothers, for his crew, but suddenly now he wants Law more than them? That would be so jarring for him, because he's known so many types of love already, but nothing can prepare you for your heart pounding out of your chest just seeing someone on a piece of paper because I always imagine that Luffy would collect bounty posters of people he cares about, like trading cards almost, and when he takes Law's he gets so 🥰🥺😩 yk

All in all, 10/10 take in my book LMFAO

For the ask about asl brothers when it comes to lawlu: Sabo to me is protective in a way with Luffy where he will look into everyone's background with a fine tooth comb to find anything bad and if he doesn't and he trusts you with his brother. He's fine with you. If he's not, well Sabo knows how to make a person disappear from being with the revolutionary army. Ace is possessive protective big brother that is in your face. Sabo is capable of liking who Luffy likes. He just needs to know everything about you first. I feel like Sabo did a full background check on the strawhats and when he saw that they were ok they got a 👍 in his book. That's how Sabo feels about Law. He did a background check plus he saved his brother. He's ok in his book.

OH MY GOD yes Sabo going full PI mode with a magnifying glass just to make sure. Honestly I agree with that too. The revolutionary in him is definitely talking to your extended family, the underground, and needs five references to make sure you're not being shady around his little brother.

And Ace.. he's just arms crossed with a glare, like 'okay?! He may like you but why should I??' it's very much giving 'thats MY brother, NOT YOURS!!'

controversial lawlu headcanon: I think Sabo would be protective over Luffy but be genuinely be supportive of lawlu and like. Everyone likes to write fics and headcanon that he'd be over protective and hate law on principle like ace. But Law saved luffy when he couldn't. That definitely gives him a lot of postive points in his book. Now Ace if he was alive could definitely see him not liking law and being over protective.

See, but this is a take I agree with, ngl.

Sabo, in my opinion is a protective brother, sure, but I don't see him hating anyone that's one, living their life in a way that's not hurting people actively, and two, someone that Luffy loves. Sabo is very warm, and friendly, and also, as you mentioned, Law saved Luffy, and if he loves him? Icing on the cake.

Ace? I feel like he's a judgemental bitch (I Love him your honor don't come for me 😭🖐🏻) and what I mean by that, is he low-key was sussing out the strawhats when they were in alabasta like. 👀 Brother chill that sarcasm was on LOCK lowwww key the whole time but it was there. He's a covert judgy boy, and I respect him, but yeah, I could def see Ace MASSIVELY disliking Law. Especially because he's dating or in love with Luffy.

In conclusion, Ace and Sabo? Protective, but in different flavors.
