A Minor Detail

But I just wanted to share it anyway.

In chapter 8, Sangwoo smoked a cigarrette and crumpled it on plant pot while waiting his test for Bum out which Bum failed. 

In chapter 13, after Bum got tortured, got to participate in murder (passively) and got chained up, Seungbae eventually tries to investigate Sangwoo’s house and we get to see this panel here.

I suspect that Sangwoo’s paranoia and obsession intensified after that incident and he has been pulling these subtle trials ever since. One point for it would be that in this chapter, Bum actually wasn’t chained up at all, which parallels chapter 7 or 6 when Bum was left in a, let’s say more moveable state. 

And what I also wanted to add, at least what I found strange is, that after mere minutes Sangwoo came back. Well, this can be explained by Seungbae’s carlessness (not hiding his police car well and Sangwoo noticing it, which is why he returned) or Sangwoo never having the intention to go far away at all and just pretended to walk a bit only to came back real quick. Maybe both options actually apply here as well.
