today was a grey day, but not like a dreary, world-weary sort of grey - everything was cool and soft and comforting. it is an absolute Joy to be living in a place where i can wear sweaters in september and not die of heat. i got some shopping done this morning (i forgot how expensive it is to set up a new apartment) including a charming glass tea mug. i’ve wanted one for forever and now my dreams are coming true!! i headed back out in the afternoon to find a place to work, and stumbled on this lovely cafe that serves entirely gluten free and paleo baked goods! i saw the lemon poppy seed muffin and couldn’t resist. i got the readings i wanted to done, completely finished one application and almost finished the other. it’s technically complete, but i’m not happy with it. i’ll go look at it again in a couple of days. now i’m idly rewatching black panther, waiting to go have a nightcap with some friends. classes start tomorrow, and i’m nervously excited.
