The Consuming Fire. A CAIN One-Shot I wrote and ran.

THE TRUTH.

Sarah Oldacre and her twin sister Tabatha were raised in a white supremacist cult founded by their father, pastor Gideon, and his old war buddy, Michael, in the Pacific Northwest. The cult has kept afloat by managing hunting grounds from which it takes its name: Fatherland Lodge, and it has gathered vulnerable youths, criminals, ex-cons and other such dregs of society as its members.

Gideon, with military rigor, has taught his daughters and flock that in the outside world prowl jihadists, immigrants and others he considers anti-Christian heretics, told of in tales of Gideon's time as a marine during the Gulf War. His twisted intentions were to rehabilitate and give purpose to his wayward followers, but all he could muster was the creation a criminal militia, dealing equally in drug trafficking and violent crime. And, to keep the flock in line, brutal Michael has lied about being a great counter-terrorist, burying the bodies of his victims in the garden of Fatherland.

In a drunken moment during the night of the 11th of September of 202X, Gideon reveals to his daughters that there are no remains in the pit, breaking their vision of reality and making Tabatha flee the compound. Sarah, who refuses to go with her twin, reinforcing her fanaticism, and in her resentment for the weakness of her family, summons the HOUND SIN of the IFRIT from her deep within her indoctrination.

The SIN murders Tabatha, who's found in the afternoon of the next day by Daniel, Sarah's erstwhile boyfriend. Tabatha declares a state of emergency in Fatherland and hides herself in its grounds. She then calls a group of criminal cleaners to cover up the murder of her sister, who she thinks some terrorist has killed. The Exorcists will pass themselves as the cleaners to vanquish the IFRIT.

What has been your worst typo or goof in TTRPGs you have made?

Cause I just made one for the history books: Somewhere along the way, in my game CMT. A Lucha Libre RPG, I noticed that in the last version I had kept the stats for all the classes to be the same for each one.

That was not the intention, they all have different stats.

JESUS. I just updated the game, but I am also incredibly humbled and vigilant now jajajaja. Stay safe out there, folks.

Luchador Types in my Lucha RPG.

Circo (C), Maroma (M) y Teatro (T) are the three Skills with which the Luchador Rolls their Dice (D6). The better they are in a Skill, the more D6 they roll when using it. 0D6 means rolling 2D6 and only keeping the lowest Result. A Skill never goes lower than 0D6.

TÉCNICO. Those who follow the rules. Circo: 2D6. Maroma: 1D6. Teatro: 0D6. Assist. +2 HP to an Ally.

EXÓTICO. Those who are in drag. Circo: 2D6. Maroma: 0D6. Teatro: 1D6. Assist. +1 EX to the Audience.

MINI-ESTRELLA. Those shorter than 153 cm. Circo: 1D6. Maroma: 2D6. Teatro: 0D6. Assist. Gives the removed Effect to a Rival.

VOLADOR. Those soaring through the air. Circo: 0D6. Maroma: 2D6. Teatro: 1D6. Assist. They give themselves the Flying Effect (At the beginning of their next Turn +1D3 EX to a Rival and the Effect ends).

CIENTÍFICO. Those old-school grapplers. Circo: 0D6. Maroma: 1D6. Teatro: 2D6. Assist: +1D6 to the next Roll of an Ally.

RUDO. Those that break the rules. Circo: 1D6. Maroma: 0D6. Teatro: 2D6. Assist: Gives a Rival the Insulted Effect (Each Roll, if they receive EX, they receive +1EX).

My life got better when I understood that in the internet I can find a sample jackass from any, and I mean any, group of people.

Therefore it's somewhat my responsibility to not look out for the worst examples of any which category, and to not take those that I find as representatives of the whole.

Bumping into them is many times out of my hands, with the vitriol-pushing algorithms out there, but I do have control over my reactions.

A unit does tell about the whole, at least a bit. But still, "one" is a very small sample size.
