I don't know if this is a hot take, but to me TADC 9 just seems like someone's multi ship (mainly abstragedy) terrible fanfic.

I'm gonna be delusional and say it's not canon

I think most Ribbun shippers liked the ship from the perspective of Jax redeeming himself and changing, thus becoming a better person for Gangle and the two of them working on themselves together. But now, with the latest episode, everything changes. He has offered no apology, and now many are suggesting he may be an abuser, you know what kind. Could we possibly be left with less tarnished and damaged reputation than we already were?

goose, you LITERALLY said yourself you’re not interested in adding romance to the show. and then you decide to make abstragedy canon, and funnybunny canon (?)

I want to write a Ribbun fanfic where, after years of Jax's abstraction, the others find a way to destroy the circus, so everyone can scape, cause there's no longer a circus. (In my mind this works) And everyone means everyone, including the abstracted ones. And so, as humans, Gangle and Jax will talk about many things they couldn't talk about back then. (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Human AU btw.

1.- Gangle is a waitress, Jax is...jobless.

2.-They are roomies.

3.-Jax is a good chef, so he likes cooking for Gangle.

4.-Gangle often stays up late drawing, so Jax likes going to her room and cuddle her as she works.

5.-If Gangle is attacked online, Jax would defend her, being a bit too aggressive.

6.-Gangle likes to drag Jax to Japanese restaurants.

7.-Gangle's birthday is in July, Jax's is in August, so they celebrate their birthdays together.

8.-They both like to play games together, but whenever Gangle is about to win, Jax unplugs her console.

If Jax changed for good and was now dating Gangle, both happy, both healing. Changing is better than staying a jerk your whole life, right? She deserves change after what you done to her.
