PLURĀ !! EDC Las Vegas
beautiful tomorrowland
EDC Las Vegas 2014
He looked so beautiful, standing on the wet beach sand under the bright moonlight. His silky brown hair glistening as the wind blew it gently around his face. His dark brown eyes piercing at me with his darkened stare. His lips puckered at me ever so slightly, and his body was still wet from the swim he had taken not long ago. Yes, beautiful was an understatement. He looked absolutely hypnotizing, and he was all mineā¦.
I felt lost because my mind told me that people didnāt interpret the world like I did. But one foggy morning, I saw a girl with pink hair riding the metro; she had loud headphones on and a Russian novel protruding out of her bag; she wore a friendly smile, but with tired eyes, because she grew weary of a routine (which she avoided by daydreaming about all the places her soul demanded to see). I met a boy named Devin, his mind was like a carousel of gothic art: skulls, ravens, candle light, and blood; he had Edgar Allen Poe kick Disney out of his head, and exchanged it with beautiful images of death and the unknown. When they met, their battle with depression was their first human connection; they laughed about how their bed felt like a magnet, their laundry had a growth spurt, their nails were short and choppy their parents always yelled at night, their phone was full of unanswered messages, and their food was so old, their refrigerator had to expire. They had a peculiar take on love; their friends and family were worried because these two agreed that life was a āprison with unlocked doors,ā and that nihilist view scared most people to death.
