Our story started a few years back in this same city, when you decided to take the plunge and come to a rough little bar and watch my little band play a gig one night. Who would have known that after that gig, you would have come back a few weeks later, and end up staying in my parents house for a month, spending every morning having breakfast and dinner with my family, sleeping in my childhood bedroom with me, and just overall-.. falling in love. Things went quickly, and rockily, and all these years later, two kids, a third on the way now, and here we still are. You’re still the love of my entire life, and I wouldn’t change it for the entire world. You make my heart pitter patter just like the first day that I saw you in that dingey old bar, with whiskey in my glass, trying to remember the words to my own songs as I tried to impress you as watched on in the crowd to my every move. You’ve become my rock, my bestfriend, my absolute soulmate, and I don’t know how I could even fathom a life without you at this point in time. You make every day just that much more amazing now, and I’m so blessed to be able to have you by my side each and every step of the way. Just watching you every day running after our little girls, the giggles that come out of their mouths as you chase them with open arms, the never ending love you manage to have for them-.. I don’t think my heart has ever felt so full before. I can’t even imagine how much more it’s going to be once our little boy is here, once we add one more to the picture, how we can cram all that more love into this situation, but I know we’ll do it, because I know somehow, you’ve got it in you. All in all though, I hope today has been nothing but magical for you, sweets, and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for you, for us, for our family. Here’s to a magical year of 24.
