she’s in love with the idea of being loved.
“ it’s been the LONGEST day of my life, ” he muttered, his voice tangible with sleep & exhaustion SIMULTANEOUSLY. “ exhausted. ” he whispered, glancing around his surrounds – the white walls W A S H E D with both fear & reassurance. he glanced down at the gown he was in, tugging at the ripped POLYESTER & furrowing his brow. “ i can’t believe this.. is what a psych ward looks like. ” he narrowed his eyes at the room, it was very CLINICAL to say it was meant to be his new bedroom - he’d miss the house. “ fuck. ” his voice broke as he spoke, the eerie definitive accent now much less than a whimper. “ i can’t believe i’m here. ”
marisol wasn’t a stranger to hospitals. after her father took off, her mother’s heath went down the drain, meaning a couple of visits to the hospital here and there. she went to go visit reid, because she felt like somebody should, even if people were already visiting, or even if they didn’t get along great. ❛ — hey, it’s not that bad. I mean sure, probably not as comfortable as the house but you don’t actually have to take care of yourself here, ❜ she tried to lighten up the mood as much as possible.
the chilly breeze sent shivers up logans spine as he sat alone out on the front porch. strands of his long hair covered his face as he focused down at the book on his lap. he held the novel steady with one hand as he used the other to hold his cigarette. placing the bud between his chapped lips, logan slowly turned the page. with ease, logan inhaled, letting the filth fill his lungs. after a few long seconds, the curly haired male brought his hand back up to his cigarette, slowly parting it from his lips as he allowed the smoke to escape his body with one long exhale. bringing his eyes up from the page, logan was slightly startled to see one of his housemates near by. ❝ oh ❞ his dull voice echoed as he spoke, the cold breeze skimming his rosy cheeks. ❝ can i help you with something ? ❞ logan leaned back into his seat as he closed his book shut. he wasn’t sure why he asked – he didn’t even care. it was more of a rhetoric statement then an sincere question.
marisol wasn’t totally feeling the warm inside of the house. feeling stuffed and restless, she decided to head outside. she wasn’t one to think about others preferences before choosing her own decisions, so when seeing logan’s backside she immediately to head that way. stepping out, it took a while for him to notice she was there, but he eventually did. ❛ — uhh, not necessarily. just decided to come out and get some fresh air, ❜ she answered.

“commitment issues aren’t new to me, commitment issues to living spaces? that is!” something between a chuckle and a laugh rolled off her lips. she didn’t like going back on herself, or admitting she was wrong, and so she rarely did. “you’re living in a house with friends,” lucia should be the last person in the house calling everyone a friend, between living with both her ex and the girl considered her enemy it would be a straight up lie. still, it fit her argument. “of course you should be having some more. “you can work when you’re older, now’s the time to play!”
she laughed with lucia, a girl she actually did consider her friend. ❛ — haha yeah, all of us are friends. ❜ she said kinda sarcastically, yet tried to make it a little real. most of the time, she got along with all of the people in the house, but she definitely butted heads with a few. not to mention, a somewhat ex boyfriend was there making everything awkward. she laughed at lucia, and her motivation. ❛ — play? okay. hey wanna play with me, luce? ❜

“yeah you can even rent girls, doesn’t mean you should!” it was an exaggeration, but there was an element of truth in her words nonetheless. opening the bottle of water she held in her hands, she took a gulp before carrying on. “obviously not, but buying a house can be an investment… though i guess between the lot of us things could get complicated,” she shrugged, ready to jump from one topic to another. “i still think we should’ve invested our money and bought the place. anyways, speaking on investing, invested in anything fun recently?”
she shrugged definitely seeing the truth in her words, ❛ — yeah it’d be a lot of commitment, and I’m pretty sure if not all at least have of the house has some problem with commitment. common fear actually. ❜ she smiled, bringing light to the kinda dark remark she made. ❛ — eh, just the usual, hanging out, working, not much going on. I should really be having some more though. what about you? ❜
