“Oh really? When did you graduate? Im a slytherin.” Lilianna mentioned. 

“Three years after the war,” Marj said. “I was a Gryffindor, I played as the seeker once Harry Potter graduated.”

“What do you mean by panicked?” Noah questioned. “What did you say?”

“I mean I did a better job of hiding it than the last time I freaked out on him. But he just sprung it onto me at the department store like it was nothing.” Marj shrugged. “I said yes. I love him.”

auxiliadoraselwyn‌:

“He did what? Marj you should have said! We could have celebrated with champagne and chocolate and- wait, you did say yes, right?”

“After we talked, yeah. He didn’t really want to think much about it, he just knew it was a good idea. I love him to death but he’s like a puppy in some ways.” Marj half smiled. “And I remember what happened the last time I went this fast with someone...I don’t want to fuck up again.”

oscarcanlancaster‌:

“Course I am.” He told her with a shrug like he couldn’t understand why this was a question. “Babe, when have I brought up something to you I wasn’t a hundred sure of?”

“I mean...yeah, you’re always sure of yourself. That’s something I love most about you.” Marj smiled. She wasn’t so sure about everything, and almost never of her instincts which were telling her to say yes. “I just...It’s kind of a big deal, you know? Where will we live?”

oscarcanlancaster‌:

“I’d apologize but…I live to surprise you.” He chuckled giving her another kiss before they apperated back to her place. 

Marj rolled her eyes lightly, but held on tight to Oscar as they apparated. Once they were inside, she sat on the couch. “Are you sure about this?”

oscarcanlancaster‌:

Oscar nodded. “Course. But, not until you get what we came in here for or I’ll never hear the end of it.” 

“I don’t even remember what I came here for.” Marj laughed. “You really surprised me, Oscar.”

“You went to Hogwarts? So did I!”

“So my boyfriend asked me to move in with him. And I panicked like a total idiot.”

“Marj! I haven’t seen you since last year!” Ausilia laughed, unable to stop herself from the terrible joke as she entwined her arm around her friend’s. “How was your Christmas and New Years?”

Marj made herself laugh at her friend’s joke. “Good one, Ausilia.” She shook her head slightly. “It was great. I spent both with Oscar, it was nice. Did I tell you he asked me to move in with him?”

oscarcanlancaster‌:

“We can rent. I’m okay with that.” He grinned kissing her rose cheeks. “I’ve never really known how to settle down anyway.” 

“Can we go back to my place and talk about this or something? We’re just in the middle of the store and...yeah.”

ncahlockwood‌:

Noah shrugged. “No one’s normal, everyone just pretends to be,” he replied. “If it makes you feel better my girlfriend makes me wear gloves anytime I make a potion because I accidentally poisoned myself in seventh year.”

“I wish I could pretend better, then,” Marj said. “Your girlfriend seems smart, then. How did you poison yourself?”

“Like I said, people are dumb.”

“I’m sorry you have to deal with that nonsense. It’s more than I’d be able to handle.”

oscarcanlancaster‌:

“Well than we better get looking for another place.” He grinned, tilting down to kiss her softly. “Do we want to rent or buy?”

“I, uh...” Marj felt her face grow red at his question. “Buying is kind of a long-term thing, isn’t it?” She pulled away slightly. “Maybe we could rent?”

thaddeusbedford‌:

“I’ve learnt not to comment on certain features of other people, lest they get offended at my assumptions,” Thaddeus replied, chuckling softly at her words. “I can’t blame you for that; My girlfriend is the reason why I’m here as well,” He continued, pointing out Carter in the crowd. 

“She’s pretty.” Marj looked to where he was pointing. “That’s my boyfriend over there.” She pointed to Oscar. “He teaches at a no-maj school, but he loves it so that’s all that matters.”

dillonxparker‌:

“Try being on my side, literally if you’re pregnant, why are you ice skating?” Dillon rolled her eyes. “Some of them are so dumb, like you shouldn’t be at risk of falling especially when carrying a child.”

“Are you serious?” Marj asked dubiously. “I’m sure they even have signs by the rink to not skate while pregnant.”

“Why don’t you try wearing a helmet?” Noah replied. “I mean it’ll give you the chance to go without risking head injury. I mean, you’d look like a little kid, but it’s worth it, right?”

“Yeah, probably worth it.” Marj shrugged. “I just wish I could do normal things like that without worrying.”
