Coyote…!?
Woah, Coyote.

Once she had gotten her bearings, Coyote Tango saw that she was at a dock next to a guarded military ship. No shatterdome in sight, but there was a sunrise and water and fresh air and space. It was wonderful, her first time being out in the open since that fight in Japan. That she could remember anyways.
Her reverie was cut short when bullets began to ping off her armor.
Tango whipped around to look at the human soldiers shooting at her. The first time in her life she’d been seen as the enemy of this kind and not the hero. It was startling and frightened her. She wavered indecisively, not sure whether to attack or… No, move on. The Kaiju were waiting.
"They’ll be after us shortly. We’ll have to make our own way from here," she muttered as she stepped off into the bay, walking deeper into the ocean and leaving the panicking humans behind.
"Of course." he stated blandly. “How far are we from our destination?"
And that was her cue to check her GPS. Good question, as they'd been on the docks for quite a while after being moved from the shatterdome. It would be a while, but she'd expected that. Antarctica wasn't exactly the closest destination on the map. "A few thousand miles," she admitted. But she'd been expecting that too.
Coyote continued to walk into the water until it began to come over head. Thankfully, most Jaegers were designed for underwater combat since that was Kaiju home base. Newt would be perfectly fine and now that she was properly away from the docks, she could really get going. Tango immediately began to reroute all power away from unneeded systems to the propellers built into her heels.
"But we're built for underwater combat. Trust me, we'll be there in plenty of time," she assured him. Or she hoped they did. She still wanted to blast 'em before they hatched. The propellers at her heels powered on completely and the large mecha tilted forwards, slowly picking up speed as she oriented them in the right direction.
"Just a word of advice, Kaiju. This is one of those moments where it’s better to shut the hell up than keep talking," Coyote snapped. Talking to them was worse than Newt. They weren’t particularly engaging or creative conversationalists. “Any second now…"
Coyote Tango took a moment to calm herself, to force the memories back before she panicked. Maybe she should have gone to the PPCD, but it was too late now. It was either submit to upgrades that terrified her or tell them and have them organize an assault by the time it was too late. No, she was the only one that could do this.
"Here we go!" Her systems hummed back on immediately, and there was an immediate reaction. There was startled cries from the workers, but Tango ignored them all and carefully threw off the tarp. They could do nothing to stop her now that her mind was made up. The giant machine made her way to her feet easily .
It was hard to be ‘creative’ when you were Many. They stood still as she moved, blinking slowly every so often to clean off Their human eyes.

Considering ghost Stacker’s reaction, they thought the PPCD would give them plenty of credit, particularily when the Kaiju started attacking.
They rose, shouldering the bag and stepping into the console, locking their arms and legs in, ready to be raised just in case. “We are Newton Geiszler just as much as he is Us."
"Just a word of advice, Kaiju. This is one of those moments where it's better to shut the hell up than keep talking," Coyote snapped. Talking to them was worse than Newt. They weren't particularly engaging or creative conversationalists. "Any second now..."

Coyote Tango was used to being still, but this was ridiculous. She’d been sitting this way for hours, simply waiting to be moved. If she hadn’t purposefully rerouted all power away from inessential systems in order to appear powered down, she would have been twitching like crazy. The darkness didn’t help either. With her camera shut down and covered by a tarp, she was alone with her mind, her hallucinations and… Newt.
Goddamnit, Newt.
"Still hanging in there? I know this is taking a while, but damn. There aren’t too many ways for me to get ou-" she said, a quiet voice that would only sound inside her cockpit.
And then the ground beneath her lurched suddenly, the sound of an engine roaring to life. They were finally moving, thank god.
Their form fell into slumber moments after the Hunter went silent, and woke when she spoke. “We are fine. We are stirring. Time is running out."
"I don't care if you're fine and you can stop stirring," Coyote snapped. If she'd had her systems powered on, her weapons would have been charging to full power after that comment. As she was talking, she began to see flashbacks of the Kaiju she'd fought in Japan flashing through her memories. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe she was simply too crazy to go after Kaiju. But if she didn't? She was afraid the PPCD wouldn't give Newt's visions any credit.
The floor continued to jar underneath them as the truck headed towards the loading dock where they'd be packed away on a boat headed towards the new shatterdome. "But, listen to me. Not you, damn Kaiju. I mean Newt. I'm a minute or two from powering on now that we're in the open. I need you to strap into the escape pod in case something goes wrong. Got it?"
"Kaiju." he repeated, sitting down and sitting his duffel down next to him. “That is what the humans call Us. We like it. It suits Us."

He stepped inside, gliding his hand over the console in her command hatch. “We’re impressed with the human’s work. It’s not often another race can fight Us at Our own game, pitting giants against giants while they sit back and control."
"Your humans made a very fatal mistake, however." he knocked on the back rests, smirking. “While We stood by, away from the war, the humans pit themselves in harm’s way. Quite stupid, if you ask Us."
The words only inflamed Coyote Tango more. No doubt at all this was the Kaiju now, the bastards. She had the resist the urge to online her weaponry, and she came this close to drifting back into the memory hallucinations of Luna's death. Tasmin had lost so much that d-d-d- NO! There was serious work to be done. Live up to Stacker. He wouldn't let hallucinations distract him from the fight.
"A word of advice, Kaiju. Shut the fuck up. I'm your ride and the rules still apply. Touch anything and I'll take you on a tango instead of to Antartica," she snapped.
"How long will that take?" he inquired, stepping fearlessly into her hand. The smile didn’t fade, nor did the blood broiling behind his right eye. “They’ll hatch soon. We don’t want to miss it."
"They'll hatch soon? I really don't want to know about Kaiju reproduction, Newt. Not at all. But for once, I agree with you. Better smash the things before they hatch than afterwards," Coyote muttered. It's what made the most strategic sense, even though she'd relish the chance for a good fight after this long.
The jaeger lifted the tiny human as slowly as she could until he was aligned with the entrance hatch on her helm. The door slid aside at her command and Coyote waited patiently for him to enter. "Remember what I said. Don't touch anything. You're not my pilot and don't pretend to be. And it'll take as long as it takes. Like I said, planning a trip to Antarctica isn't easy.

Rusty piece a’ shit? Pft, more like a Colossus. Feat of engineering with sentience to boot—heck, most humans don’t even have that kinda resume.
I like the sound a’ that. Tell ‘em to go shove it up their holes if they don’t like it. *grins broadly* You got attitude.
"I'll take that as a compliment. Maybe. Look, it's not really in my programming to tell humans to shove it up their holes. I'd rather do that to the Kaiju, if it's all the same to you. Not that there's not a human or two that doesn't deserve it."
( Hey everybody! I’m back! Hit me up if you want to Tango. :P)
"... W-wait? Why did you say my name? Do you need me for something?"
His eyes remain blank, but his mouth curls in a smile. "Then let Us go. The others are waiting, after all."
"The smile doesn't help at all. Also, I can't wait to meet these others so I can blast them to pieces," Coyote Tango muttered. Oops, she'd accidentally made him act even more creepy. Well, she couldn't be faulted for trying in this regard. Might as well get this over with, though.... Before she had to deal with looking at his creepy expression for a second longer.
The giant mecha bent down, offering the scientist a hand. "Well, climb on. I'm your ride, Newt. Here's the plan. The superiors have been on me to agree to upgrades recently, anyways. I'm going to pretend to finally agree and fake a power down, and then they'll pack me off to go to another shatterdome for a few weeks to get the upgrades. Ain't got the tech here, apparently. That way our exit won't cause a stir. Once we're out... well, we'll wing it from there. Might have to fight our way out of storage, but at least it'll buy us a little time."
"Goddamnit, now a 244 foot robot has to sneak out of a base. That’s strategically difficult even for me, and Stacker was my former pilot. Happy with yourself? Good for you I’ve had plenty of spare time and have actually been thinking about how to get out of here for a while…. Don’t judge, -a-alright? I’m not a troublemaker, but things get stuffy. I just want space. Anyways, you’ll have to hide in my helm compartment. J-just don’t touch anything, alright?"
*blank stare* Are we leaving?
"... Yes, yes we're leaving, Newt," Coyote Tango muttered. That blank stare was really beginning to irritate her. Not because she was angry at the scientist but because she knew what sinister forces were lurking behind it, the thing she couldn't do anything about while she was stuck here. "But if this is going to work, you'll have to do everything that I say. And try not to be that creepy while you're doing it."
