reading the description (above), i can’t help but to think about y/n’s existence which is now in the mirror. we are evidently stuck in their due to our wanting to help out during the time we were at the manor (i.e. figuring out what happened to wkm!mark with abe, helping celine with the darker side of the manor, trying to stop the colonel from letting his anger out on abe for keeping tabs on him, and ultimately, trying to keep things from getting messier than they already were) AND because we were too trusting of damien and celine seeing as they had other plans, thus creating dark. so it is possible that, the entirety of the new video posted is what is IN the mirror which could also be considered the void. we did that to ourselves due to everything stated before and dark says in the video, “you created this place” because we technically did after being placed inside the mirror. now the drowning and snow (which represents coldness to me) shows that we can’t outrun and fix our mistakes. we’re surrounded by it all with seemingly no way out. and at the end of the description it says, “some things can’t be fixed” leading me to believe that our mistakes cannot be fixed. wilford, as well, cannot be fixed. also, he’s telling us to ‘go back to sleep’, something he has said before (the cryptic van video), because no matter how hard we try, everything is now, if you will, set in stone and thus nothing can be reversed. we are stuck in the mirror forever, forced to watch our mistakes play in front of us and there’s nothing we can do about it. we will never be able to ‘wake up’ and face the fact that we were played like puppets all along.
