What is your record player setup at home ? Very curious !

Although I only use technic 1200's live and in the studio, at home I have this McIntosh turntable that glows in this aqua green colour. I listen to a lot of records at home.

Hey Mark, I've been a huge fan for years now (your Cornerstone "Fade to Black" mixtape is still my favourite mix of all time & I miss Authentic S*** beyond belief!). I was just wondering if you're going to be taking Uptown Special out on tour and if so, how I could go about contacting you with regards to opening for you? I figured this was the best place to grab you personally (hence why i created a tumblr specifically!) - your style of DJ'ing has always inspired me and it would be an honour!

Hey man, you are one of my favorite producers out there, your version of "Valerie" with Amy Winehouse is among the greatest records ever made. What would you say that a (aspiring) record producer has to do in 2014 to set themselves apart from people who just make beats or engineer? How do we keep our particular skills relevant? Thanks for everything!

i think the best thing is to find the thing that you do that no one else is doing. so if your strength as a producer is recording instrumentation or arranging, focus on that--also because it's more rare in music right now.

my dog Maude is a border collie-lab mix, i think. i adopted her from a shelter a long time ago. she is my best friend
