It feels dreamy to say that my third album, Mermaid Kisses, Starfish Wishes, is officially coming to life.

Sunday, 12.21.25, I stepped into Lollipop Records in LA with my band, and we recorded the whole thing live on an 8-track tape reel, chasing that retro 1960s vibe I’ve been dreaming about. 🧜🏻‍♀️

This album is pure ocean magic, dripping with mermaid energy, and a touch of salty nostalgia.

You’ll hear it in my new original songs, “Hibiscus”, “Pineapple Juice”, and “Like Hollie Would”, all bringing their own splash of the sea, some love, and little heartbreaks. Recording live like this at Lollipop Records was electric. There’s a freedom, a rawness, a wave you can ride in every track. It’s been a sweet journey getting here, and finally my little ocean of songs is ready to swim out into the world.

I’m a literal pineapple…🍍

“Pineapple Juice” is finally out in the world 💚💛 one of my favorite original songs I’ve ever written in my musical journey…I always dreamed of creating a song inspired by pineapples, and one day the cute little idea finally hit me and I ran with it. Manifested it, recorded it live to tape reels like the 1960s with my band, and gave it that real heart, soul, raw-energy feeling I love so much.

This whole song has been such a process of patience, learning, and tiny emotional meltdowns as an independent artist lol. My producer digitized the tape reels, gave me the stems and I mixed the song myself, which honestly felt like performing surgery on a pineapple at 3am. There were moments I almost gave up, moments I cried over it, and moments where I thought I completely ruined everything… but somehow it all came together in the end. 🤧🍒

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been deep in the process. Filming a music video, planning a few photoshoots, and honestly just pouring everything I have into this release. This song means the world to me. It’s one of those songs that holds so many feelings and memories all at once.

For the past month and a half, I’ve been teaching myself how to mix it on my own. As an independent artist, I couldn’t keep up with rising mixing costs, so I took it into my own hands. It wasn’t easy. I struggled, got frustrated, tried a million different versions, but somewhere along the way I started learning little tricks, trusting my ears, and finding a sound that finally feels like mine. And now I have a mix I genuinely love.

Even more special, my upcoming third album was recorded live onto an 8-track tape reel, super analog inspired by the 1960s, including “Pineapple Juice” of course. Recording on tape is something I’ve always dreamed of doing. Getting those stems back and being trusted to mix my first single myself felt like such a full-circle moment. My best friend told me it had a 90s vibe (haha). Little pop-rock meets reggae with an island feel. And a little disco beat at the end.

It’s imperfect, it’s real, it’s a vibe either way.

I can’t wait for you to hear it.

A Dreamy Night of Music – July 17th Show Recap

July 17th was one for the books! One of the highlights of the night was performing a brand-new original song, “Like Hollie Would.” 🩷

This song is especially close to my heart because it was written from the perspective of Holli Would, the iconic character from the 1992 movie Cool World. Holli’s story of wanting to run away, start over, never stop dreaming big, and ultimately get everything she’s ever wanted deeply resonated with me—and I wanted to capture that longing and fearless ambition in a song. That inspiration brought my writing back.

Performing “Like Hollie Would” live for the very first time was a dream come true. The crowd’s energy, the way the lyrics floated through the room, and my guitarist bringing the song to life made it a moment I’ll never forget.
