âThat sounds cool and all, but it sounds like it needs precision... And that isnât exactly my strong suit.â
âBuuuut it could help if I run out of flares... How much is it?â
As much as he hates it, he has to ask. This stuff is most certainly cursed, but if it swings, he can wield it. Craig sighs.
âAlright, gimme a rundown.â
âO-Okay... M-m-maybe the mountains w-werenât the best place to hide out...â
The mountains were definitely no place for a human, much less a human lacking the supplies to make a fire. Even with the ability to ignite his hands, a lone flameâs no good without kindling. So, Craig does the obvious; trespass into a seemingly uninhabited cave to while the night away.
Letâs hope no one minds...
âBleh, fine. But only becurrse I thinkyerawesum...â Craig purposefully trails off at the end. Finn hearing that would be a fate worse than Banana Guards.
âIâm takinâ this to a little spot outside the Ice Kingdom. Some big shot âmerchantâ is supposed to be there and I wanted to see if heâd buy this. And if he does, I take it back in the night, then give it back to itâs original owner.â
Craig smiled at the other, casually lifting the rags from his eyes. âYeah, itâs me again.â Craig almost winced at the next question.Â
âPromising. To a certain degree... I mean, running in with a fire axe wasnât the best idea, but it did get me a floor ahead.â
@cursedshopkeep
For a moment, Craig wanted to speak up. But he just couldnât bare to interrupt her singing. He argues whether or not to sit down and listen, but this shop isnât exactly a campfire.
Craig silently coughs to get her attention.
Sheesh. Itâs cold up here...
âOh... Oh god, candy people eat candy... How did I not notice that?â
âI know man, but I really am trying to help. Just in my own, convoluted way.â
Guess the dash has slowed down, huh.
âUh... Since about April second, eleven fifteen onward. And- I dunno, man. Do you know who Robin Hood is? Because thatâd make justifying this act much easier.â
Craig skids to a halt, knowing full well Finn pokeing holes in him was a terrible alternative solution. Breathing heavy, Craig turns to Finn.
âSheesh... I need to do more cardio...â
Having Finn chase him put a little more pep in Craigâs step, looking back every now and then to see if heâd made any headway.
âListen, Finn, I know this looks bad, but give me a half hour and Iâll convince you whoever owned this deserved it!â
I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid but my parents told me the sky was the limit
