Marmo's Endless Summer Fic Masterlist

Most of those have been since hacked to bits and re-worked into newer fanfic projects, and many don't line up with my personal canon as it is presently. That's okay! I'll leave them on Tumblr for the memories, or if anyone wants to read them.

CURRENT MASTERLIST

I've organised my fics into several series on AO3, mostly following my Endless Ending headcanon.

My main pairing is Estela x (f)MC/Taylor, but there will be other pairings sprinkled throughout-- predominantly in-line with canon, but I am rather partial to Michelle x Quinn.

Endless Ending... and beyond

Written In the Stars A series of fics set during the course of the books, bringing us to Taylor choosing to preserve La Huerta in its safe bubble at the end of the world.

A New Reality Faced with a heart-wrenching decision, Taylor kept her loved ones safe on La Huerta. A new reality awaits as the Catalysts re-build their lives away from the homes they once knew, but for Taylor, facing up to her identity might just be enough to throw everything upon its head once more.

Beyond Vaanu A life beyond La Huerta is more than Taylor can comprehend, but now she is faced with exactly that; a whole new life as what needs to pass as a regular human being. Meanwhile, Estela is putting her shattered pieces together and imagining a future; starting from scratch with her impossible wife.

Far Future Taylor and Estela ride off into a La Huerta sunset with their baby girl. But then what? NOTE: some of these do need some tweaks to fit my current canon, but I'm keeping them up on AO3 except in cases where a huge re-working is necessary

Vaanu Ending

From the Stars My one and only Vaanu Ending fic. I wrote something I loved way back in 2019, and have never felt like revisiting. It's not long, only 20k words, but I am quite proud of it.

Rourke Ending

I've abandoned this series, but there are a few bits and pieces here I'm proud of.

Miscellaneous ES Fics

Not really fitting anywhere else. The Fountain: A Broken Chains AU. The world has been restored, but at the price of Taylor's life. And Estela isn't ready to let her go. I'll Be Home Soon:  A trek into La Huerta's northern reaches ends very, very badly.

The Hotel at the End of the World, Chapter Two: 'Taylor Made'

Taylor awoke slowly. She awoke to the realisation that she did not want to leave the room again until she'd gotten her almost unspeakable reality off her chest… and a secondary realisation that it was too early in the day for ice cream to soften the impact. She burrowed in deeper to the bed and groaned. Saying things out loud… it had an unfortunate tendency to make them feel so much more real. She didn't want it to be real. She just wanted to be 'Taylor'.

'Taylor No-Surname'. No. She was married now. She was entitled to Estela's name, which was just as well, because there wasn't another one to cling to.

"¡Mierda! Fue una noche jodidamente horrible."

Her Spanish pretty poor, Taylor nonetheless picked up the general gist from context alone. "Yeah…. That was a rough one."

ACT I, Chapter Five: It’s What You’re Meant For

He handed a book to Taylor, large and leather-bound.

"What's this?"

"Baby shower gift! Quinn illustrated for me, so you'll want to give her another round of hugs as well. It's our story, but as a fairytale, totally kid-friendly."

"Wait— you made this? You wrote this?”

Wide-eyed, Taylor carefully opened the book, and was met with a cast of beasts, lovingly painted, taking on a mysterious island. A constant, she noticed as she leafed through, was the brown dog steadfastly at the side of a golden-haired princess.

"I was trying so hard not to cry today."

She had no chance. No chance at all.

Going into heavy territory with this present chapter. I feel as though 'The Hotel at the End of the World' will be a long slog to write, what with all the dark places it's going to throw up. The trick is going to be finding the balance, keeping it from going too bleak... but literally everyone and everything outside their little La Huerta bubble is dead and burning and gone, and I don't know how you can exist in that without some people reaching dire levels of hopelessness.

WIP Wednesday-- almost missed it again!

There's a chapter each for two different fics that I've been rotating between, and whichever sees the light of day first is anybody's guess!

Two VERY different vibes.

"You belong here with me. Vaanu might have made you, but once you've made a person and put them out into the world, they're their own thing. Vaanu, whatever the fuck it is, has got no right to ask you to give up— to give up everything. Taylor, they wanted to take your life, like, like it was theirs to take, and it's not—" Taylor kissed her, hard because she wanted to feel it until she bruised and bled. She took hold of Estela's forearms and pinned her against the back of the couch. A guttural groan tore past her lips, swallowed by the rough kiss she screamed for. "Harder," she grunted, now straddling Estela's hips. You must think I'm crazy, but please…. Please…. "Put marks on me. Make me yours." Of course there had been no scars on her. She hadn't had a life, hadn't lived. Shiny new plastic, straight out the box. No scars on her body or memories in her head. "Estela. Please. I want it to hurt." Because she wanted to feel real or because she deserved to feel pain?

It hadn't even 5am when the alarm went off, and regret had hit hard. The 'babymoon' thing had been a great idea— inspired, actually. It was pretty much a 'babymoon-slash-honeymoon', as they hadn't gotten to that bit yet. Where it had potentially gone pear-shaped was passing decision-making on the thing to someone who had no fear of early-rises and an idea of 'relaxation' that was more 'hiking in the wilderness' than 'lying on a beach'. And so it was that Taylor found herself watching the colour of morning breathe life into a sprawling African bushland. Estela had, by Taylor's reckoning, been far too chipper about the pre-dawn wake-up call for someone six months pregnant. "Come on, it's not that bad!" Estela had assured, whilst luring her reluctant safari partner with a very large, very strong coffee. "And you'll be seeing all these animals you saved from extinction." "Technically. I guess." Taylor rolled her eyes and groaned. You're welcome, man-eating lions.

It is done.

The final chapter of Broken Chains: 2026 Edition is complete. The end product was a lot of hours of love wrapped up into a little story that swelled into being a third longer than its original iteration, and can now stand as the basis of my Happy Ending. My girls have been through a lot, but now the world's their oyster. *proud of them*

Broken Chains: Whatever the Future Holds

The horizon was painted with the colours of sunset, so much softer and more beautiful than the harsh glow that Taylor had become used to. Perhaps, she pondered, she should make a point of watching the sun go down every day for the rest of her life. For all the hurt that had come of it, she could begrudgingly admit that she'd earned that perfect sunset.

Next stop: San Trobida....

Choices Disability & LGBTQ+ Pride 2026

Since I've been crazy busy the past two months, I didn't end up having it in me to host the LGBTQ+ Pride event last month (I'm so sorry!), so I am combining it with the Disability Pride event this month! This event will start on Thursday, July 2 and end on Friday, July 31. Late submissions will be accepted through Saturday, August 8.

While there are prompts, the use of them is not required. Any work that focuses on disabled and/or lgbtq+ characters/themes/etc. is submittable. Please keep in mind that while allies and caregivers are appreciated, this event is not for or about them.

Include which prompt you are using in your submission

Submissions must include some form of a title

Submissions must clearly state the characters full name and which Choices story they are from. GOC characters must also include a gender tag (ex. m!MC, nb!OC). If you do not include this information, please send me a dm to let me know how you would like your character's names and such to appear on the masterlist.

Works about Spellfyre MCs/OCs/characters are also submittable!

If your work contains a relationship it must be labelled correctly, using "x" or "/" for romantic/sexual relationships and "&" for platonic relationships.

NSFW/mature submissions are allowed, but must be tagged properly and have the proper community label.
